I was scheduling myself to begin Session 11 tomorrow. I changed my mind. Session 10 deals with so much material for DEPRESSION!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is my favorite session so far. If you are depressed, you will want to work on this session with all your attention. And I am going to have to review it for many years to come, I can already see that.
Circular thinking is heavily implicated here! Depressed people think in circles. Can't get beyond depression if you cannot find your way out of the circle. My mother always called this Digging up bones.
You need a distraction to keep you from addressing your REAL problem, just go dig up some old bones and pick at them, over and over and over, until everyone wants to run when they see you coming.
We can warp anything.
We can remake history faster than television!
We can set ourselves in the future and make a mess too big for anyone to clean up, and we can do it without a Time Machine.

Session 10 homework. If you are here, please contribute your experiences if you can because the more people understand this session material, the faster we will overcome our depression. Really.

And, I add this later, because it is too cool. We are actually given an assignment on Session 10 to buy ourselves a gift. No kidding. Tomorrow I have to make the two hour drive to Albuquerque anyway, and I am going to buy myself a gift. If you got this far, WHAT WAS YOUR GIFT?

Ocean, get busy. This Session 10 stuff is unbelievable. And if you need homework help, I'll be finished here in a few days. Won't promise I can offer much, but I am doing this homework with my head and my heart in gear.

Digging up bones concept - - How true and descriptive. Session 10 was one of the good ones for sure. I have notes hanging on the bathroom mirrors with my now new slogans of "Deal don't Dwell" and "Close the Gate". I have a tendency to already buy myself a lot of gifts, so I turned this concept around and bought someone else a gift. This session was so effective for me, and I'm wondering how many other people also felt this way. Anyone ??

Hi Ocean and Mary,
I spent the day yesterday helping with a little cat (who has a tumor). The gift I got yesterday was for him. I paid his veterinary bill. The day was frustrating and I called in Session Three, Four, Six and Ten skills big time! I'm so very happy and grateful to hear from both of you. It is amazing to me how well the tools on this program work, if you understand them, assimilate them into the nuances of each day, and put them to work. A day like yesterday would have normally set me spinning, and it would take many weeks to get beyond the things that were upsetting. This morning, a bit of mental homework review, and I am having a good day. I am going to review Session Three CD and homework today (that is one of Session 10 homework), and tomorrow, if the wheels don't fall off the bus again, I will begin Session 11.
