Since I have been home I have been moving along w/ the prgoram On #3 now; last night as I read and listen to tape, I felt overwhelmed>>> AM I going to fast..should I slow down or forge on.

I would say take your time and don't rush things. If you feel overwhelmed it may be because you are now realizing how to chnage your thoughts from negative to positive and you may feel a little overwhelmed with it. This is normal. Session 3 is very difficult for a lot of people here but it is also the key to recovery. Just take your time and do things little by little for now. This anxiety is a lot for anyone to deal with.

The program recommends one session a week but I spent 2 weeks on session 3 and two weeks on session 12. Just focus on one session at a time and don't even think about the rest until you get there. It seems overwhelming at first but you will see later how each session builds on the last one. The overwhelmingness (if that is a real word?) will go away.

I agree...I also spent a lot of extra time on session 3 and it has a lot to offer so I have even gone back to it a few times. Just work at a pace that is comfortable for you. It's far better to move slowler than skip through too fast and miss a lot of help. each time I went over a session I heard things I missed the other times. I found that writing points down from each session helped me to retain certain info much better. We all learn in our own ways and at our own speed. Just enjoy your life changing journey...it's incredible!!
