I'm worried that this program can't help me because I'm in a slightly different situation. Not only do I have anxiety but I have an intense sensivity to family's "sick noises" like coughing, sneezing, etc. It makes me miserable every day of my life. I had been going through lesson 3, but I feel like it's pointless now. Every time I wake up determined to do well, it's ruined by my severe anger reactions. Do you think I can still benefit from this program? I'm really worried.

I would suggest to keep doing the program. I haven't started it yet but from what I have read it works. It's definitely not an easy, over-night fix. The sounds give you anxiety and this program is designed to help deal with anxiety.

Keep going...you can do it! I can't wait for my program to arrive!

I have the same sensitivity, only mine includes crinkling wrappers. Sometimes I just can't stand it--makes my skin crawl. I've found that when my anxiety is at bay, the sensitivity is less. I still struggle with it from time to time though. My husband thinks that sneezing is akin to yelling, so I'm constantly having to practice overcoming it.

My reactions are sometimes still anger as well. The more I practice the less the reaction. Some days I'm just irritible, while other days I don't even really notice. So don't give up, it will get better.

And for all those loud sneezers out there--it doesn't help to yell at the end!

Goodgrief...The program was a life-saver!!! Please, do not give up on it!!!

You haven't given it a chance to work...Of course, you are angrier, because you are finally facing up to things you have been running from your entire life-time!!!

If you have read any of my postings, then, you know that this program does work...You just need to give it a chance!!!

Hang in there...The skills in the program are "priceless"...God Bless

Greetings goodgrief. I don't think I have quite the intensity to sound that you do but I definitely can relate to what you're going thru. Certain noises just make me unhappy. I'm sure if it's that of a family member of yours struggling that would magnify it even more as well.

Stick with it. I have full confidence that it will work for you!
