explaining it to your kids

i just started the program this week. my 11 yr old son saw the dvds on my desk and started asking my wife if daddy was depressed and why.
this has been eating at me all day and making me very nervous. how do you explain what your going through and how you are dealing with it to your kids? any advise?

I had the same thing happen to me; my six year old daughter wanted to know what i was doing and why i had them. After thinking about it for awhile, i explained to her that i was trying to learn how to be patient. She always told me that i needed to be patient, so i put it terms that she would understand. I even involve both of my kids, i asked them to let me know when i wasn't being patient, and they never fail. It's actually a big help, and they feel like the're helping me. Hope this helps you!!
