Driving after an accident.
I was hit by a drunk driver about 3 years ago and still experiencing difficulties driving. I am constantly looking around to see if I am going to have an accident. I find it hard to relax, especially if someone else is driving, I do better by myself. Last weekend, I felt I had a breakthrough while riding in the car with my husband driving. It was getting dark, and we were on an interstate and it started to rain really hard. I felt an anxiety attack coming, so I just started the breathing technique that I learned from the tapes and I began to calm down. I also spoke positive word to myself and before long we were at our destination, safe and sound. Wow! What a relief! I know I have a ways to go, but now I have some tools!
