Combining the program with therapy?
Hi everyone, I am ending week 3 of the program and am so far extremely encouraged. I have never been to a psychologist but want to talk to someone about a specific fear/phobia I have about having a baby-I'm not pregnant but my husband and I would like to start a family in the next year. I want to talk to someone specifically about this issue while still working the weeks of the program. Has anyone done this? What was your experience? Thanks so much.
Absolutely! This is my second time around on the program and both times I've been taking courses in CBT (cognital behavioural therapy) and relaxation from a therapist. I found and still find that they work very well together. So far I have never found anything said to me by my therapist that "went against" the program here. To me, it was (and is) a wonderful combination. Good luck. Rob.
