Help!!
I am brand new to all this so please let me know how I need to go about being in a peer group. I suffer from Anxiety and depression and WANT MY LIFE BACK! My biggest problem is ANGER I think but I could be wrong. Ive lived with this for 39yrs and probally had alittle help from my father, who is now decessed from suicied, and his upbringing. I to feel like Im a good person, and to others, I probally even fit the part. The truth of the matter is, "Im hurtting inside. I want things to be better for me when it comes to controling my anger, my emotions, and dealing with situations that ARENT as bad as I tend to make them. When I first heard Lucindas CD, and watched her video, I finally felt like I was'nt alone anymore, and realized, "hey, maybe I do have a problem that CAN BE helped"? And then it hit me...."What If"...it cant help! Well Im here, and Im game! so lets do this and lets get better together!! Im willing to give it a try so here we go!! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!

Welcome! You're already in the peer group right now - which is here 24/7, and that's pretty nice!
I started the program in April/May, and am already feeling so much better and so empowered when it comes to my anxiety problems and life in general. It's really been a boost, and I find that the tools do far, far more than I expected them to do. I don't know why I didn't see the power of journaling before!

I think with all of working together, and keeping focused on progress we will get better. It is scary and the what if thinking is entrenched in us, so we have to remain mindful of the goal. Hang in there. I am just beginning too and sometimes get frightened, but "keep your eyes on the road and your hands upon the wheel" and you will get there.
