I'm assuming one session builds on another. I just started and I watched the complete videos first just to get an overview. I hope I'm not damaged now.

As much as you want to skip, don't. Each lesson builds on the other and you will miss out on some important skills if you jump ahead. Lesson 10, like all the lessons deals with some intense issues and you will need a good grasp on the basics in order to fully benefit from the material. Think of it this way, the program was set up in a particular order for a lot of reasons. I don't think I was ready for lesson 10 back when I was doing lesson 2 or 3,even though I was suffering from scary thoughts, so just keep plugging along, no matter what, don't give up on yourself and don't skip ahead. Hope this helps!!

Many people have issues with obsessive scary thoughts or obsessive thinking in general. It will not hurt you to go to ten and review it. After you have done this go back to where you were and continue in sequence. When you get to ten again, go through it again. You can never get too much of this information.

I hear you. Session Three and Session Ten have been the absolute best for me. I did not skip, though. I know it seems like you should be able to go right on to the sessions that list your biggest problems, and you certainly can if that is your decision. Let me tell you why I didn't. This program is designed very, very cleverly and carefully. There are numerous theories of approach to treatment here, quite a few more than just the cognitive theory. But they aren't specifically defined, they are simply provided. And with each session, these techniques gradually comprise a truly well rounded treatment system/program. It works because of this careful design. And there is an important gradient as well. Each program is walking with you, holding your hand, guiding you, providing you with all the skills and knowledge you will need to master the next session level. There is a truly important method being applied here. From first session, to last session, you are on a journey. The gradients are comparable to public school's K-12. It makes sense, and there is a good reason for it.
Glad you are on the program. And I can promise, Session Ten just blew me away. It is good. But I needed all the first Nine to really grasp the enormity of what it was about. Good luck and best wishes.
