I recently discovered that im suffering from social anxiety. I used to love chatting with people, tellin stories, having fun with no worries. Now im attending college and should be having the time of my life but im too afraid to socialize mostly with strangers becasue thats when it gets at me the most. anywayz I found out that I have a facial tic, not too severe but enough to be the underlying cause of my anxiety...
Im no expert but from my experience I can tell you a facial tic is a small involuntary twitch in a muscle. In my case its when I smile...I ll try to laugh at some one or even keep a straight face and itll freak out..

Facial Tic (started my social anxiety?)
I had exactly the same problem when I started the College. Did not feel comfortable to smile when I discovered the twitch which arose all of a sudden. In my case it affects only the left cheek and lip, so I wonder if it i semi-facial spasm. Yet I know this situation arise only during the social situations..
