Anxiety is something that everyone has to deal with, all their lives. However it is up to you to decide what degree you will have the anxiety. It sounds like you have had the symptoms of a panic attack and that this is not the first time. If your here seeking help it means that the degree of anxity in your life is more than what you would like and/or can cope with to live a happy life. This is good because it also means that you have realized that this is a problem and you are taking the steps to change it.
I myself have had anxiety for most of my life, I am 23. I can remember specific symptoms from when I was just 4 years old. Until about 6mo's ago I didn't even know that it was anxiety that I have had all this time. I though I was just a little crazy and would live like this forever. Now that I know what it is, the weight of the world has been lifted off my sholders. I know what to do to take control and limit my anxiety to a healthy level and live a happier life.

Hi there!
I, like you, suffer from free floating anxiety which can grow into a full blown panic state.
I do find from Lucindas' mini-series, that these people know what they are talking about.
Did you sign up for the mini-series??
Give it a try. I think these people are unto something that can ease this misery..OK?

Tinkerbell,
I think most of us here have those symptoms to some extent or another. The first thing I would recommend is to use the relaxation exercises. Learning how to slow your breath and relax goes a long way toward breaking away from the panic and anxiety.
You may have to deal with anxiety in life, but you'll be better prepared to deal with it. It's ok to be scared, but don't let that stop you. And when an anxiety attack happens, realize that that's what it is. You're not in danger. It just feels like you are. Don't try to fight it; try breathing through it.
Congratulations for having the courage to try, and remember that courage means acting in spite of your fear, not that you wait until you have no fear.
