Hi all,

As we all know and can testify, "...the Father disciplines the child He loves..." I want to testify, the Father has shown me so much love; that sometimes I wish He wouldn't love me soooooo much :D

I really feel you Jennifer. Just remember that as a broken dish or a bruise reed, He will not spurn you. (Ps 51) As bruised and broken as I am and feel everyday, I simply look at this verse, and flip it and expand up on it. As a bruised reed, not only will he not spurn me. He will hear and answer my prayers because I am broken.

Could I ever want it any other way? For if He hears and answers my prayers, I realize that I am totally reliant upon Him and not in my own wisdom but in His. What could be better for me? Nothing else, I think. Moreover, when it seems I am at my weakest in my own strength, I am strongest in His strength. Awesome, HuH?

Anyway, I got all fired up this morning as I listened to the Kirk Franklin Choir singing it out. Amen?

Here are the lyrics:

I hope this helps me to share and spread the Joy even just a little bit today.

i feel you on this one as well. i have been broken so many as well and was able to share and help others who are going through drastic events in their lives because i went through it with God's love and the strength has gotten me through it and told me in my heart to be compassionate and help others. so i do understand where you are coming from.
