So, I have not been on here in a really long time, was feeling better and then feeling anxious--too anxious for my peer support on the anxiety site, lol.

So I feel a little awkward asking for prayers, but am having an MRI tomorrow of my face for "comparison" to a CT scan my doc told me was normal in January of a small lump in my cheek. Not totally understanding why this is needed and it has set me back into my hypochondriac oh-my-gosh-it-is-cancer mode.

I don't necessarily deserve prayers having been gone for so long, but if anyone is up to it I sure would appreciate it!

Wow, I'm selfish. I'm amending this to ask for prayers for my sister who is in the ER right now with intractable abdominal pain. She lost her spleen last year and her body can not get infections and such...God Bless her.

BTTRFLY, I will post a prayer right here for you and your sister!!! I have never done this one on the main forum, but, I will do what is needed!!!

Our Gracious and Most Kind Heavenly Father,

I ask of YOU to look down upon BTTFLY tonight as well as her sister!!! I lift the two of them up before Thy Throne of Grace and ask of Thee to have abundant mercy upon the two of them!!!

Dear Heavenly Father, YOU know what is wrong with the two of them, and YOU are more than able to heal them physically, as well as, emotionally and to alleviate all of their fears!!!

YOU said in YOUR HOLY WORD that YOU bore all of our sicknesses!!! YOU said that YOU would deliver us out of all our afflictions!!!

I ask these favors of THEE in the Precious Name of Jesus Christ to YOU be all of the glory, honor and praise!!! Amen and Amen!!!

God is soooo faithful!!! Please try not to worry and leave these things in God's hands!!!

He said for us to "cast all of our cares upon HIM"...He loves us sooooo much!!!

None of us are worthy of anything!!! God's grace is sufficient!!! Amen and Amen!!!

I pray you and your sister rest well tonight!!!

Thank you, Dee Dee and Mrs. T Bones! My sister is okay, diverticulitis. Not fun, but in the grand scheme of things it is something we can deal with.

My MRI is at 11 am EST today, hopefully God will have good news for me, too.

God Bless all of you today, and have a happy day =)

Hi Bttrfly:

My name is Rita and I just started the program. I will be in prayer for you. Remember that God is in control of everything that happens to us. Phillipians 4:6-7 says
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds throuhg Christ Jesus".

Do not worry, He is in control. Have faith and believe in your heart that the results of your MRI will be positive.

Blessings,
Rita Flesher
