My 8 year old son and his dad leave for New York from Mississippi today. I'm sure they will have a wonderful time, but I'm a bit nervous. I'll be so glad when he's back here with me.
I'm breathing through the nervousness and trying to put the "what if he gets lost" thoughts out of my mind. I'm doing a lot better than I would have- the old me.
I can do this. I can make it. This is not tough.
RIGHT??????

bev,
you will be in our thoughts and prayers while they are away.if they get lost then they can always ask for directions.men do that you know sometimes .just making a funny so it will lessen the thought of the geting lost.take care and keep your chin up and be strong knowing that GOD will work things out for you. be blessed in all that you do.

THIS IS THE DAY THAT THE LORD HAS MADE. LET US REJOYCE AND BE GLAD IN IT.

Bev---your son and his dad will have a wonderful time, and you will get a nice break and some time to yourself. I am also always super-nervous about my kids, but am learning to let go a little so that they can live life and not be so dependent on me, so hopefully they do not end up with this anxiety. Breathe deep and do something nice for yourself!

Hugs, Tara
