Hey All,
Going through a tough time today. My daughter, who is 13 and in 8th grade, found out last night that a friend and classmate passed away from a surgical complication yesterday. She is devastated. I am finding it hard to find the right words to comfort her.
Please pray for the family of her friend, for my daughter that she will find comfort, and for me to be strong enough to help her through.
I appreciate you all so much and am so grateful to have you as a part of my life.
Sincerely
Barbara

Hi Barbara:
I will pray for your daughter, you and her friend's family.
I'm sure this is hard.

Hey Barbara,
I'm so sorry about this. I will pray right now that God will help give you the words to say to your daughter. I will pray for that family. That God will comfort them and give them peace.
In Jesus name, Amen.

Barbara, prayers winging their way to you, your daughter, and her friend's family. How very sad. Rest in God's arms. <IMG SRC="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v649/ ... earhug.gif">

Hi Barbara,
Prayers and hugs to all of you.
You'll find the right words or the right hugs for your daughter along the way. My daughter lost a good friend last year while at college. She told me a while ago that my hugs and just the little things we'd done together helped and that she really wasn't looking for any worldly explanations, or incredible words of wisdom.
One day we simply baked cookies together the weekend she came home and she cried and said"thanks, God must have told you I needed this"

Hello Barbara I will say a prayer for all of you. Take care and God Bless.

Thank you so much to all of you.
Yesterday was a tough day, my daughter of course did not feel up to going to school, I am also a teacher, so we both took the day off yesterday and spent time together, watched TV, laughed a little, cried a little, talked... I think it was helpful. She is going to attempt to return to school today, I know it will be tough. I assured her that if she did not feel good being at school I would come get her, but I at least wanted her to try to get back into the swing of things.

Your prayers are sincerely appreciated
I am so thankful for all of you
Have a wonderful and blessed day
Barbara
