Faith in the Name by Joyce Meyer
Victory is not in having the Name of the Lord touse; victory is in having the faith in the Name of Jesus and using it properly, Be careful not touse His Name frivolously or to no real purpose. We should revere His Name.
By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus' name and the faith that comes through Him that has given this complete healing to Him, as you can all see. - Acts 3;16 NIV

Today Joyce spoke on Romans; 3 20-24about how we are given ritiousness through the blood of Jesus, and because we are right before God by His sacrifice, we can hold our head up and walk with the confidence that we will not go to hell, and because of that gift of acceptance from God we can be confident and happy "by Faith" and we can choose to Be Happy. Seh is offering her book "How to Succeed in being yourself", it is the Vewers Choice #3 program, because it has helped so many people over the years since she delivered this to an audience, and put it on TV. Yet we still need to hear the "Good News", for Faith comes by hearing the Word of God, basicly we all just want to be accepted, and happy. God has Written, He acceptes us when we Believe in His Son Jesus Christ. and His Joy is available, through His sacrifice, we are presented Holy and acceptable to God.

Thank you God, for this path of redemption, Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice, and for the book You have given us to tell us, that we are Accepted, and Loved, so we can Enjoy our Lives, Open our eyes, and ears to this, and help us to understand it, we give to You the Prase, and Thanks Giving with the motive; that because we are loved and accepted, we can give love and acceptence. Amen

ATTITUDE
There once was a woman who woke up one morning,
looked in the mirror,
and noticed she had only three hairs on her head.
"Well," she said, 'I think I'll braid my hair today?'
So she did and she had a wonderful day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and saw
that she had only two hairs on her head.
'H-M-M,' she said, 'I think
I'll part my hair down the middle today?'
So she did and she had a grand day.

Attitude

Joyce Meyer tells us to; Learn the Word and allow the Holy Spirit in you to wield it - the sword of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit comes in you when you make Jesus Lord of your life and ask Him to fill you with HIs Spirit. Dear God Thank You for helping us to understand that we do not need to sweat the petty stuff in life, it is Your Will that we enjoy our lives, to do that we musth stay positive, knowing you are directing our steps. may we all learn to choose our fights, and use Your Words to stop the anxiety in us, and enjoy our lives. in Jesus name Amen.

I realize I am the only one posting on this thread, but there is evidence that 41 of us have stoped in to pray for all of us since my last post, Thank you for your prayers, for the forum, and the 80 people who have asked for prayer though this test of anxiety. God Bless you all

I was posting last night to a man that had "What if thoughts" includint the fear on the evening news in his thinking. Dear God may we remember to leave the bad news alone, stop soking it in, and Believe Your Good News in our lives. Giving us Peace, and Joy for the day, and better dreams at night. In Jesus Name Amen

Thank You Oh God! for Your Grace. in recognizing that we are week, and wearry, knowing we needed a savior You sacrificed Your Sun to save us from our failuers, and give us a new day, every day Your Grace if there for us, so we can start again, and make our lives better, little by little, we can draw close to you, and receive Your Grace, to go on. in Jesus name I pray we can accept Your Grace and lift up our heads, and start over untill we get it right. Amen.

i have several prayer requests i need you to pray with me about..
my ex called me last night to let me know that her sons father has cancer again. he had skin cancer on his back a few years ago and they got it..then h had skin cancer on his forehead. and now on his throat. she said it was wrapped around his vein...i do not know if he is saved or not. what was amazing was that she called me. when we were together and i went to church and got my life cleaned up she wanted no part of it..pray for her as well..
elaine is a lady that her parents live behind us. she has cancer not like her dad had but we will know more later after they do tests.her mom was out walking and saw me and asked that we remember her in prayer. both her parents are not christians. so pray for the wole family.
on the 7th i had a stint put in the left side of my stomach. i had had problems for years with my hip hurting when i walked. the drs said it was geting older then,arthritis.they went in to clear the artery on the right side but was unable so they went in through the left side and found it blocked as well and put the stint. i have a follow up on the 28th. i beleive that GOD has already began a work on the right side..take care and know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers nd may GOD BLESS..

I am reminded today of the Promisses of God, that is why I put His Words in a rainbow of collors. We must accept His gift of His Sun to heal us, and stand on His Promises that He Loves us and He wonts us well, just as you want hour friends healed, God wants them to accept His gift of healing. I have found that God has lead me to my healing, He doesn't heal all of us in the same way. In being lead to my healing I have learned so much about God, and his plan for my life. He has used these bouts with my health to help others, as well. But underpinning it all is God's promis that He loves, me and he wants me healed, and all my friends and family, we must all accept His help in this, and standing on his Promises, no matter what it looks, or feels like we must have Faith that "By His strypes we are healed." in Jesus name Amen.

I think that this is a wonderful idea!! There is power in prayer. Where two or more are gathered in His name He is in the midst!!

#81 Theresa Muench, yes it is wonderfull that we can all pray for each other, we all try to pray at 8;pm mt. and any time of the day, just to think of each other I have my list ticled, just inside my bible,now with you, in there, it is 81 names,

Faith is Confidence in God. by Joyce Meyer
Confidence and faith are virtually synonymous; sometimes they can be interchanged without losing the content of what is being said at all. Faigh can be defined as confidence in God. In simple terms, faigh is knowing that if God has said He will do something, He will do it. Even if it doesn't look like He is doing it right now, it will come to pass in His timing, If we will remain confident in Him. Don't lose your confidence.
And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him; ]we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us. And if (since) we [Positively} know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge} that we have {granted us as our present possessions} the requests made of Him. - 1 John 5;14,15 AMP

Confidence in You Lord help us to have Faith in that! Knowing that we know You are Faithfull to do all you have promised in your Word. Thank you Jesus, for your sacrifice for us. awmen
