Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer me from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand. - Psalm 20;6

We are all babtised with our tears. rivers of living watter can wash away our sins, and make us a new creature in Christ.

I love righteousness, uprightness, and right standing with God and hate wickedness; therefor God, My god, has anointed me with the oil of gladness. - Psalm 45;7

Anonted with the oil of gladness, may the Joy of the Lord comfort you jodi b, I have been in your shoes, loosing your daughter at any age is tereble. but I can tell you I got mine back, it was 6 years, but God worked it out, I made my self sick worrying over it, and I regret that, because now that she is home, I am a mess. but I am getting well, thanks to this program, we both are. She has used it too.

I realized about a year before she came home that I could not make a diffrence crying over it, and kicking myself over it. I was only making myself miserable. I gave her to God, beleaving I would see her again even if it were in heaven, and started to live better, eat better, exercise, and take this course. Expecting a miricle and it happend, she came home, take hope in "what He has done for others He can do for you", have patience, have hope, live well. and "haveing done all stand and wate on the Lord your redeamer, your defender, and teh lifter of your head." amen

May we all live well in hope of our recovery, and our new, positive, happy lives with the Lord Amen

Sit-n-spin you are number 80 to joine our prayer gourp, I am humbled that so many people are praying for me, and for you, for our Highest Good according to the ritches of God our Heavenly Father. Every day, most of us try to pray at 8;pm MST. but any time you think of us we will all appreciate your prayers.

Ask God for what you want and desire, and trust Him to bring it His way when the time is right. Joyce Meyer quote. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them. - Psalm 145;18,19 NKJV

God; may we learn to come boldly to you, and ask for what we need, to expect to receive from you our needs, for it is from a full cup we can share with others, thank You for this course, that we are learning, compassion for ourselves and others. Thank You for this prayer group, that we may agree together for our Highest Good in your will we pray in Jesus name Amen

I ask to that we remember to pray for our leaders, in this nation, and the safety of our troops around the world. Amen

Stomach problems;Probable cause,=Dread,Fear of the new,Inabillity to assimulate the new. New Thought Pattern = "Life agrees with me, I assimilate the new every moment of every day. All is well"
Not knowing what is wrong with your stomic I looked it up in my book "Daedly Emotions" You need to reapeat this affermation out loud at least 3 times a day. and especially when it is giveing you problems. My cousin the Dr. of Nutrition, would put you on a liquid fast give it all a rest, for 3 or 4 days, then start with enzimes, and vegitables, working back to proteens, and fruits. and some type of herbal gas realeaf like Gastrex. I will pray God takes away your dreads, and that you will give them to Him, things are always changing there is always going to be new things in your life that is what life is all about. put on Lucind'a tape, and relax, and let life happen always remembering that God is the one in control.
My Dayly Health News has this suggestion.
A Mind-Body Solution for IBS
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is what's called a "functional disorder," meaning there is no structural detectable abnormality, such as cancer or bowel inflammation, to explain the patient's symptoms. A functional disorder is unlikely to affect your long-term health. But don't tell anyone who suffers from IBS that the condition is "nothing to worry about." For them, IBS means near-constant anxiety about abdominal pain and discomfort, along with diarrhea, constipation or alternating bouts of both. In short, life is one endless worry. And being prone to worry, according to growing research, may be a big part of the problem.

A recent study on this, from the University of Southampton (UK) and the University of Auckland (New Zealand), demonstrated that the people most likely to develop IBS were those whose temperament could be described as overly anxious and driven. Additionally, the study found that people at risk for IBS were also likely to be perfectionists, pushing themselves too far and, not surprisingly, were likely to be pessimistic about their illness, though not depressed.

A VICIOUS CYCLE

An expert on the impact of personality type on IBS is Emeran A. Mayer, MD, the director of the UCLA Center for Neurovisceral Sciences & Women's Health in the Division of Digestive Diseases and the chair of the UCLA Collaborative Centers for Integrative Medicine. I spoke with Dr. Mayer about the role of anxiety in the disease and how these findings might be helpful to people with it. IBS often develops after bouts of gastroenteritis (an inflammation of the stomach and intestines caused by a virus, bacteria or parasites). In order to understand why this happens, it's important to remember that the gastrointestinal tract has its own nervous system called the enteric nervous system, said Dr. Mayer, which has been referred to as the third branch of the autonomic nervous system. This independent connection to the brain, which has as many neurons as the spinal cord, works like a continuous loop, with communication signals going both ways, from the gut up to the brain as well as from the brain down via para sympathetic and sympathetic nerve fibers in the body. This branch is one of the branches of the autonomic nervous system that mediates the effect of emotion on the body. We now know that how a person feels, thinks and copes influences those messages.

There's some disagreement about exactly what IBS is, says Dr. Mayer, but some researchers believe that the condition develops only if there is an alteration in the normal way the digestive system and the nervous system interact. And studies suggest that chronic anxiety may play a role in biasing these brain/gut interactions. "In my experience virtually all IBS patients have at least mildly increased levels of anxiety," says Dr. Mayer. What remains to be studied is whether the IBS creates anxiety, anxiety creates IBS... or there are yet other factors at play.

Unfortunately, having IBS nearly always worsens anxiety in people who already tend toward it, thereby setting up a vicious cycle in their brain/gut interactions, says Dr. Mayer. IBS patients become "hypervigilant" about the possible appearance of symptoms, which in turn causes the brain to send a message to the gut, telling it to become even more hyper-responsive and sensitive. The result is an elevation of symptoms and discomfort leading to heightened anxiety that leads to greater hypervigilance... and on and on.

A MIND-BODY SOLUTION FOR IBS

Although several different medications have been developed to treat IBS, with modest results, there is another road to healing that is at least as likely to succeed, and perhaps more so -- by changing the nervous system messages IBS patients send between the brain and the digestive system. According to Dr. Mayer and many others, one way to do this is through cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). This is a brief period of therapy focused on teaching people to more quickly recognize their thought patterns and alter them in ways that calm the gut at symptom onset, rather than reacting with panic and anxiety. This can retrain the entire pathway between the brain and the digestive system, making it stronger and healthier, says Dr. Mayer. In his CBT program, IBS patients take part in five weekly sessions of two hours each. However, he says that even shorter programs produce positive results. In addition to CBT, patients learn how to control symptoms by breathing deeply from the diaphragm, using progressive muscle relaxation, and also by a form of self-hypnosis that replaces negative thoughts with reassuring ones that diminish symptoms.

Research on IBS continues, says Dr. Mayer. He compares the disease to a jigsaw puzzle, predicting the pieces will all be in place within a few years. A new class of drugs that acts directly on the limbic system in the brain (which affects emotions and autonomic function), calming down hyperactive reactions such as those found in IBS, is being tested. However, as readers of Daily Health News know, natural solutions are always our favorite ones. Dr. Mayer encourages everyone with IBS symptoms to consider some type of CBT as one way to learn how to smooth out the dysfunctional brain/gut connection. Talk with your health-care provider about a referral to a CBT program in your area.

Dear Mello Nello good to see you again,I pray for Conner, and her husband decernment, and understanding, and the peace that passes all understanding for God will lead them through.:I am strong and of good courage, I do not fear nor am I afraid fo rthe Lord my God, He is the one who goes with me. He will not leave me nor forsake me. - Deuteronamy 31;6 NKJV

Please *D* don't take offence, that is one of the most wonderfull lessons I have learned from this course, to be less affected and more effective. Our numbers showes, we are a needed part of this forum, I am not sure I would have stayed, or would continue to stay if I could not come here and realy free to be me, a Child of God, who desires to live in the word, and have the Word live in me. not every one has that desire, and that is their free will, I am learning to transfer those people, from my own system of justice to God's. To forgive is to recongnize that the wrong done against me is a debt of sin, and all sin is against God. Therefore, in forgiving, I transfer the debt from my ledger of accounts to God's, leaving all recompense in his hands." New Livce Ministries" I am believeing more and more that my life is in God's hands, and I am foolish to worry about it one more moment. I am more and more able to trust God with everything. and He is more and more able to do that for me without my interfearence. He is my Defender, and my Vindicaror! What a ride. I am no longer insecure around other people, I feel free to be me here all the time, and with this practice, I am able to be me more and more in my "real" life. I trust He will not allow this window to shut, but if He does, he will open a better one. For now I am enjoying this one very much.

We are empowered as we dwell in the presence of the Lord. Spending regular, quality time with God is one of the most important things we as belivers can learn to do But they tht wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they whall mount up with sings as eatles; they shall rung, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not fiant. - Isaiah 40 31; KJV
I pray we may all know that our God is our Deffender, and our Vindicator, He is directing our steps, in His Grace we live and grow, in His peace we will live all the days of our lives in the precious name of Jesus, I pray for all of us and thoes we loves. Amen
