Barb, I pray your friends are at peace, and resting in God's timeing. We don't need details, To pray for anyones Highest Good, & God's Blessings, bad things happen to good people, the devil is on the attac, most of the deciples were treated so badly just trying to spread the Good Word.

Joyce Meyer writes; If we will listen to what the Lord is relling us in His Word and in our hearts, not only will we have more peace, but we will also enjy more success.
This book of the law shall not dpart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein; for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt hapve good success. - Joshua 1;8 KJV

You have to listen for Success, in anything you are trying to do. I like to read the word out loud because it says Fiath cometh by hearing the word of the lord, my holistic Dr. tells me my body listens to my words, and if I am saying I am sick it hear it and helps me to be sick, if I am saying I am well, the same thing my body works to make me well. Affermations like Lucinda talks about is on that principle, speak out of your mouth that witch you want not what you have. Faith in God's promisses is our hope in our tomarrows.

I pray we all have positive tomarrows, and our success in what ever we want comes to us in God's timeing, when we are ready to take on the responsibiitys that comes with our success. amen

Yes Cheri I need to do this and bind the spirit of fear because some other things have happened. Like you said, I don't need to speak about it. Rachels husband wants me to take her to the Dr.tomorrow. I have to work at llam so hope I get her ther and back in time to get to work. No one will work for me. I do see Satan attacking me in other areas too but God is much bigger than all this and what is this in light of eternity. Now it seems like so much but "greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world."

Barb I am listenting to the Battilfield of the Mind. this morning, and she is reminding me of how important it is to get my rest, for the Devil attacts when I am tired, and worn out. Like he does all of us.

I got a prayer in my email today over 2 thousand people have prayed it and passed it on. It is getting longer from the last time I got it a few months ago I think people are adding to it. It takes more than a minuite to read it now, for one thing, but one part I read touteched me this morhing while I am praying for you.

Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over.

I am reading Joyce Meyers calender; "Control of the tounge should be our goal. It is a sign of maturity, It is one way we glorify God.
For we all often stumble and fall and offend in many things. And if anyone does not offend in speach [never says the wrong things}. he is a fully developed character and a perfect man, able to control his whole body and to curb his entire nature. - James 3:2 AMP

Out of the moth comes, that witch is in the heart... Joyce remindes us that we can control out thoughts, our thoughts are in our heart, and if we are to control our toung we must control our thoughts, we can stop those negative thoughts, we can throuw them out of our hearts by speaking the truth of God to them. We are not pittiful, we have God on our side we are Powerfull. That is how we can Stop our Wining, and wimpering. because that throws the door wide open to the devil. God doesn't feel sorry for us, He Blesses us, we must not feel sorry for ourselves, we must Bless others, we must sew a seed in the life of someone else, so it will grow in us.

Barb God is Blessing you for what you are doing for your friends, form here I can use the Weapons of Praise and Worship for them, and you.

Like Heather wrote; "It's nice to see that so many people on this forum stand behind those in need".

We are Powerfull Worriors for God here! because we are so Thankfull for each othre, and the Power of our ritiousness through the Blod of Jesus. We understand what the devil is trying to do, we are overcomers every day, and we can stand agains him with our Positive Praise and Worship for God's intervention in our lives, and in the lives of others.

I am so Greatfull God; for Lucinda's web sight wear I have met so many Mature Christians, who can move and shake the world with their prayers. Amen

Thanks for that Cheri. I looked it up. Does it have sound with it. I received something else that says turn up your sound and didn't get sound. Anyhow I have that on a CD so I think I'll put it on when I get off of here because I've been feeling depressed. Depressing things happened today but that doesn't mean I have to remain depressed. I read another thread from something a child said to her mom and it was a reality check and putting things in their proper perspective. I am going to continue to thank God when I get off here. When will I get it? The answer to getting out of depression is to continue praising, worshipping and thanking God.
I would like prayer for the following. My daughter and I going to Paul's funeral tomorrow. Pray for Nate (his best friend) who is speaking and also putting together a video. Paul's Dad is still blaming himself.

Today a friend came over to help me pack. We didn't get a lot done because her 2 yr.old grand daughter fell off a chair (flipped over backwards) and hit her head on the concrete bsmt. Fortunately checking on her later she's fine.

Found out today my aunt Doris fell down her top step backwards. She's 84, in the hospital still, was bleeding badly and still unable to speak.

My cousin Dennis who was in a car acc. more than a wk.ago is in a neck brace with much pain. On morphine.

The guy who raped my friend was in court facing her today. He has to be tried in the county he did this to her and may get 25 yrs.
Thank you. Sorry I keep posting so many requests but there's never too much prayer.
Also my mom and her husband in FL are very sick. They need to pack soon to head back to WI

Hi AnnetteW: I know what you mean when the weather gets dreary I get depressed I haven't seen the son today, and it is hard to keep my smile when the wind is blowing. It is a growing pain, I am learning to smile through it all. but some days, is harder than others to practice that.

He *D* It looks like Barb G is haveing an avalanch of growing pains just now. and all of that happening at one time can turn your thoughts negativ.

"we can not heal the world.."

I have offten wondered about that Jesus walked through what was then the World, and He could not heal everyone. But God asks us to be inercessers for our Leadears, our Nation, our World. God knows they need prayer. I watch feed the children, and on the Christian stations and I could go broke helping everyone that needs help. You are right I have let it get me down, that I can't heal them all. At one time I tryed sending something to so many I finaly realized I can help those God asks me to help. and I can pray for those God asks me to pray for. We are all diffrent parts of the Body of Christ. and we must each do our part. We are only human, and when Jesus was human He got tired, He need to rest, He needed to eat. He needed to go up in to the hills early in the morning to speak to his Father, He needed to get alone to talk to God. God can't even heal us unless we accept His gift of healing.

Barb G; "Does it have sound with it", Yes it took mine a few minuites to download the sound, I had it read before it came on it is a man reading it so nicley to me. I left it on my computer all evening, and listened to it. I printed it out so I can read it any time I need to, and I wanted to send it to my friends who don't have computers.
Barb You must keep beleaving. there is not any works of the flesh that can help you. except that you must guard your heart, and not allow your flesh to make you negative. Lucinda tells us to turn our negative in to positive every time we recognize what we are thinking turn it around. That is great information doing that will change your life and the lives of others aroud you.

I told my daughter to do that months ago, she was so down on how behind the Nevada children were she could not help them, because she was only thinking negativly about their chances of getting 5th grade work when they were only at 3rd grade level. She was not recognizing her negative thoughts, untill Mom told her if she didn't quit thinking of them as too far behind to ever catch up she would never see them diffrently. so after this last month brake (t is a year around school) She went back expecting more from them, she got new ideas how to help them learn faster. She started seeing a little glimmer of hope, and now teaching them is more fun for her, and more fun for them, and they are learning. Timeing is everything. my daughter just wasn't ready to see her breakthrough, she was blind to it, but after recognizing her negative thinking, she is looking at it positivily, and now she sees the answers and the diffrence is wonderfull for all of them.

Years ago I studied a new book at that time. Today I was reminded of "The Prayer of Jabez" reading Joyce Meyers calender; "Think Big, Live Big!" Our thoughts become a border around our lives. If we think little, we will live little. If we think big, we will iive big. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth, Mark 9:23 KJV

The prayer of Jabez; Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, "Because I bor him in pain" And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, "Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory. that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!" So Goad granted him what He requested. - 1 Chronicles 4: 9,10

"The first nine chapters of this history book are made up of genealogies. In mid-litany, the chronicler stops. One name deserves special comment. The briefest of biographies unfolds. In just two verses 9 & 10 we learn evrything the Bible has to say about this man, Jabez: he started with nothing but gloomy prospects, caried out a simple prayer, and ended up a man of honor in the eyes of God.

Personal change begins for each of us when we cry out to God for what God wants for us with open hands and expectant hearts. We must wait before Him with courage and childlike trust. You will think new thoughts. The course of your life will shift.

To help you get the most out of this exciting season in your life. I highly recomend that you make daily use of the Prayer of Jabez and journaling. You will quickly discover that a written record will help you keep your heart and mind awake to what God is doing in and around you every day. The benefits of this discipline are hard to overstate.

Remember that you are in pursuit of Blessing from a God who can "do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us" (Ephesians 3;20). To Him be the glory!

May the Lord guide and strengthen you as you walk forward with Him-and bless you indeed! - by Bruce Wilkinson.

And We called on the God of Isreal saying. "Oh, that You would bless us indeed, and enlarge our territory, that Your hand would be with us. and that you would keep us from evil, that we may not cause pain." May God grant us what we request. Amen

I have a great report on Paul's funeral today. It was neat how God worked it out at the last minute for me to be there with both my kids. I sat in the middle of both. Hugging them as the tears flowed. Nate, who did the video and spoke did very well thanks to your prayers. We saw the couples wedding pics and the joy on Paul's face holding his baby boy. Seeing the wife there with the tiny baby and knowing he won't have a Dad..but God. Yes, but God can do far more than we can exceedingly ask or think". I believe God has great plans for this little guy. Some people thought Paul had fallen away from God. Our Pastor spoke on "The Prodigal". When I was walking from the parking lot another pastor said 3 yrs. ago Paul re-dedicated his life to Christ. Also, when Nate spoke he said "Today we mourn, tomorrow we'll dance as Paul is dancing now." The last song we sang was "I can only imagine." If you don't know it the one part goes, "Will I dance before you Jesus, will I be able to stop at all, I can only imagine..." I can only imagine." I love that song. Nobody else was raising their hands but I did in praise to my Lord. As everyone walked out they played "The Hallelujah chorus." The message was given about the people who know the Lord and know where they're going but also the place of damnation. It wasn't said in a judgmental way. It was giving everyone choices. My son said this other funeral he went to who was a classmate it was awful how he made it sound like that young man was in hell etc. It made God sound like a God of damnation instead of the giver of life. This was the most uplifting funeral I ever went to even tho there was still sadness in knowing Paul's laughter, jokes and kind spirit will be missed. The angels in heaven must be rejoicing tho. This was like a Big...reunion. So many people we hadn't seen in years, some we didn't even recognize. Young gals who are now married and have 2-3 children of their own. Seeing other people's grandchildren. I think this must be a glimpse of heaven. How I praise God today and how I thank all of you for your prayers. Now I must have that same faith for the other prayers above. You are so right Cheri. God is good all the time, why do we ever doubt it. The weather here too is gloomy and I've been aching but there's JOY IN MY HEART! :)

Barb G ; it is so great to have a good report God is good!!! All the time!!!

Joyce writes; People tend to look at the exterior. God sees the inside. He sees the possibilites. Unless we are trained by God as we read His Word and allow His Spirit to work the Word in us to see beyond what can be perceived with the natural eye, we will always live with judgment in our hearts. Judgment can cause us to miss seeing all the beauty that lay just below the surface.
Since we consinder and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting. - 2 Corintians 4;18 AMP

I can't find any place the New Testiment (Covenent) that says we are to judge each other. It says we are to judge ourselves, and guard out heart. and Love one another. Funerals can be terable. I try not to go to them. Like Barb G says the lunch after the funeral when you get to see and visit family you haven't seen for a long time is the best part of a funeral it brings the family back together.

Here the Communite has a Hospitality committe all of us work a 1/4 of the year and any funerals, that happen during those 3 months is our responsiblity to take care of feeding the family, and haveing coffe and cake for the morners afer the service. My quarter is Oct, Nov, Dec. this year, it rotates, last year it was Jan,Feb,Mar. there are about 25 of us to share the expense and preperation of the meal, This year I will be co-chair and next year I will be chairman, I have done that 3 times in the last 37 years some of the ladyes are getting to old, or just refue to take a turn at chair, so it is more offten that 25 years. It will be my responsibility to decide on the menue and call all of the others to bring food. the Commitee buyes the hardwear. we serve from 40 to 300 depending on the size of the funeral. and there can be a 1,000 for coffe and cake after the funeral. this past year we had 5 in our 1/4, some years we have none.

I am honored to serve the family and I let them stay as long as they want to, some of those on our commitee want to clean up and go home. but I would stay untill tomarrow, as long as the family needs to stay. Personaly I don't want a funeral just a picknick, would do. a reunion, to celebrate my life well lived I pray.

And for all of us I pray we can all celebrate our lives well lived. starting ringt now, we must not waiste a moment, of the life we have to spend, is too precious not to be praising God, unceasingly. If we would all do that what a diffrent world this would be. Amen
