Believer08, a correction needs to be made in regards to who created this forum, it wasn't the admins rather it was StressCenter.
Everyone, a debate is fine but don't go down the road of slamming each other for what he or she either believes in or doesn't. Otherwise this thread will be locked or removed by order of the people who created the forum in the first place, StressCenter.

well jim i am surprised some did not know what you wrote and pasted. gosh, my churches had bible reading thru yearly,current scientific advances were read in my home and faiths-- and i am old now, so just 2 times sounds kinda silly to me, to then condemn/belittle and think ones particular belief is superior to a fellow believers thoughts and feelings..or to condemn things cultures god also made. not very christian to me. but then that is my problem...i hate seeing haughty superiority and condemnation of gods people, disrespect as tho one is superior spiritually=yet hating everyone in their life, and no time for their familys as on chat or sleeping all the time, yet condemning everyone around them, then TELLING SHOULDING others to think like them/believe like them, only their beliefs right/even condemning others as not spiritually good enough LIKE THEM of course. just me. yes, i see this anxiety depr4ession room often a platform of preaching telling shoulding all over others not very respectfully...alot of judging condemning if one is not one's particular belief, but others joining in the bashing who are similar beliefs. again, not very christian, but then that is my belief. but glad some found some scientific ways shared to believe in god-with a church on every corner, it just surprises me so many "christians" never learned such things. guess i have been blessed. but i also believe in old fashioned virtues and manners, maybe thats because i am older...like "he that endures to the end is the one being saved"=matt 10:22. but i see this generation wants quick easy answers like being saved now and forgiveness for just themselves and what they believe is superior and "others" not as good as spiritually, like they are gods made to judge others spirituality. i see alot of hatred and bashing of "the others" of this world, like god created only them and superior spiritually at that!!! i see them hogging forgiveness and love just for themselves from god, and god told them! i do not know what scripture that is. but then, i am always learning, and not given the gift of judging the hearts, and the records of their lives. got enough work with me, and my own responsibilities--handicapped son grown now, but life has not been easy, and 2 other children...husband died now...family gone...and so forth. i do feel badly for folks suffering, and want to upbuild with anything that has helped me, but i know all different, and i do not have all the answers. being upbuilt on one's beliefs can be heady, but often it deteriorates to bashing "others" not joining in praising the one using the forum or chat for their own particular "opinions". i also see so many thinking just their problems worse of all...gosh, what do you think brought us all here? people of various beliefs, cultures, etc., and not to be bashed by conservatives which do it often here and in chat, praising ones who believe just only same as them. conservatives often condemn others on here not the same beliefs as their own, which they have determined superior to "others", and maybe the other ones can be saved and go to heaven like THEY are. just my opinion from bible reading, but i believe david is asleep in the grave yet, and that there will be a resurrection of the righteousness and unrighteous to their deeds they have done, and god only able to judge the hearts. but i see many conservative preaching and judging as tho they are gods able to, and they are never kind, only condemnatory, yet forgiveness for themselves.i have seen many preach and pray here then go on to call different believers godless, like me recently as i am reading that "black womans new age book-eckhardt tolee", and godless as i liked "the secret" movie, and its no good=its new age godless, then another few months ago who i did not join in praising for his superior beliefs, in fact i said nothing at all, but when i did not jump on the wagon for HIS prayer group lied about me...hmmmm then tried to rally the other "believers" into bashing me with what he made up in the first place trying to act the victim, posting it on the forum-he was brand new and heady with himself as we all were very kind to him, then his preaching and HIS prayer group took over his ego, but then just my "truth" of experience with yet another conservative who felt superior and bashed even lied....i see such behavior like that often.....from conservatives. sorry. i will try not to read this column/as yes i see it as a platform for preaching and telling shoulding on others as tho they are superior in bible knowledge, yet so many say things not in the bible and i can't find that hateful judging condemning scripture of "others" in it they continually talk about without fellow love--certainly not gods creatures in other eastern countries=much godless condemning with only them going to heaven.... the mean spirtied telling shoulding all over others, it just brings up hypocrisys and bashing and superiority and condemning to this christian. and things i do not see true upon studying the bible deeply, like for instance, i believe satan cast down to the earth presently, biblically many places, and not in hell. oh well, just my opinion....but i am not hear to tell and should and condemn, trying ever so hard to have fellow love despite it being done even recently yet again to me on here by a "conservative, who feel they are spiritually superior"...gosh alot of them,on here. will share a couple bumper stickers i smiled at recently: "conservatives think they are like jesus, but jesus was a liberal. pharisees were conservatives." and, "pro life and pro war.....hypocrits"

The responses to this post utterly amaze me. I started what I believed to be a nice post. I didn't believe I was insulting anyone when I posted it. There were many positive responses. And, of course, the negative ones as well. This isn't anything new on this forum. But, you know, can't please everyone. It's much the same in real life. You can't believe in God anymore, without someone complaining. For whatever reason, all it takes these days is one atheist to complain about the Ten Commandments being in a courthouse,(which, incedently, our entire court system is based on, 1 judge, 12 jurors, etc.) and it gets removed, when most of the nation, at least I think, believes in God. Nothing new, that's for sure. I'll try not to respond to negative postings anymore. All I can say is, that I'll pray for all of you. I hold no ill will towards anyone. I know there's always people who aren't gonna agree with you, but some of the responses are just down right hateful. But to most good people here, these few peoples words speak for themselves. People telling me I'm lonely, etc., that's why I'm posting. I recently married a nice Christian woman. One of the nicest, most precious human beings I've ever encountered. I've never been happier. Besides, how does one get lonely with God in their lives??? I've been blessed again and again. Thank you God. I need to go paint the hallway now. God bless all of ya's, friend and foe. kinda tired, but true nothing new on here jim...more preaching is usually what comes...telling shoulding, and do i detect godless atheist labeling towards this christian...??? well, thats usually the case, a superiority spiritually...sorry...but nothing new. i shouldn't have posted, as its a waste of breath....oh well, just another human believer travelor, wishing respect and regard, but surprise surpirse, finding alot of spiritiual superiority and bashing...always from conservatives like they are gods able to condemn their fellow. hmmmmm. oh yeh, "have a nice day"!

My 7 yr old is always asking me... who made God --- who is God's mama? I personally do not have an answer for her... and personally, I do not care... I have enough stress, aniexty and depression to even try to process who made God and if he has a mama.
However, I do know without a shadow of a doubt --- God is everything I need and all I truly have ever wanted, Jesus is Alive, and the Holy Spirit dwells within me... and God saved my life. As well as He lead me to Combatting Stress and Depression Program. And He is there and waiting for anyone and everyone who wants Him. He is my healer, my deliever, and my redeemer, and everyday with His help and this program, I am getting free.
I am on my 2 session and I feeling better and better every day.. Yesterday... I cleaned a portion of my garage and filled thetrunk end of mini van of goodies and gave them away... and 2 days ago I took some awesome senior pictures of my niece and it has been 4 years since I have had the desire to shoot picture and I had such a great and creative fun time.

I had an email from someone who was offended by some preceived name calling...My response is below and I want to share it with all.
We are all human and therefore liable to make offensive remarks...let's stop and ask what our personal philosophy of life would have us do in that instance. Let's ask what chapter 6 would have us do. Let's practice not allowing others to control our moods...

Here’s why I’m dancing a bit…Jim wrote something he believes in the spiritual folder…after many posts others write in to give a different view (which if he had asked for a debate would have been fine), from there much of ther thread deteriorates into petty sniping. That’s how I see it in a nutshell.
I wonder in the future if it wouldn’t work better if we posted our own spiritual recommendations in our own thread? Instead of initiating debate (I’m referring to everyone here), why not think in terms of uplifting readers… PLEASE don’t read into my comments that I am taking sides nor am I putting anyone down. I am asking that we all think in terms of the readers and that everyone is entitled to their own belief system and evangelizing is best done by exemplary living.

i am so happy for you that you found time to take pictures that you have not done i a few years. that is something positive that you can look back on when you need to be uplifted.

Was that recently? I don't remember you mentioning it before. I'm as guilty as anyone for thinking my problems are the absolute worst but then I hear/read/see something and I'm reminded others endure much more than I ever have and I need to put a lid on it. There's never really been a need for me to look for happiness beyond the things I have already been given. Sounds like that's from the movie "The Wizard of OZ", don't it? lol
You always speak of Jesus' love first and I like that. It's what I look for. So little of that talk found here, or most places for that matter, and that's what I like to read. Love was always the message but it seems to get lost in the rules. Love isn't a religion but it is a commandment. If one does truly have love, the respect follows. Everyone here is hiding behind a computer so there doesn't seem to be a need for love/respect. No consequences. I find that we do get respect in face-to-face conversations.
You have my respect h.beth. When you give it, you get it. If I were the only person on here that ever gave it to you (and I'm not), I would give it 10X more to make up for any others.

These forum has an approximate 3 minute timer on it (why who knows but the software developer) which is why longer posts are lost when one clicks submit.
Do a copy then click Submit, if it doesn't go through, click reply again then paste your entire letter, statement, etc in again and click Submit right away.
I wish we had the address of this guy who programmed this software....just kidding! (maybe)
