Dawn,
Your suggestion about opening to the table of contents before the scripture was called really eased my anxious feeling in church Sunday and my husband just praised me for handling it so well. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

WOW!!!

Thank you everyone for posting - this is such a personal issue for me and yes, silly me thought I was the only one, though I bet I am the only one from my religeous background (not saying ;))

ANYWAY - it was my urge to RUN out of church week after week that brought me to the first realization that I was having panic attacks and it was time for help. It took - no joke 41 years to get aware of the problem!!!

I am about done with the program and here is what I know about life:

The people who show up in our lives are there to teach us about ourselves/about life. I can change churches, but the same lessons will continue to repeat themselves until I get to the bottom of what needs to heal within me.

I went to church last week for the first time in 3 months. yes, people were still sending their various negative energies to me and yes, I cried on the way home about one person, but HEY - I still can talk to my Heavenly Father and find out what He wants me to learn and do next.

One day at a time - just live in the moment -
