Its so amazing what one can accomplish in life by not allowing fear nor panic to control the path nor allowing those dreadful emotions to determine anyones path in life. Emotions are always around us but whats so beautiful in awesome is going to the presence of God by prayer and allowing his presence to quiet the mind and fill the body with peace to be able to go and move forward in life and be filled with joy and not dread. In knowing and learning this it has helped me to confront panic and fear and see that those emotions are only feelings not facts.

My children had been bugging me to take them to the zoo but I had been very hestitant. Dreading that some challenge would occur that I may not be able to over come. I said a prayer and I stepped out in Faith and we had a wonderful time. I spoke to the panic the fear that tried to come against me and through God I had the victory. Thanks again Believer for this post. I often have to keep reminding myself over and over again I am in control of my emotions happiness will be my choice not just an option to think about......

Oh thats wonderful sanmannn I am so happy for you!...Thats great keep taking control of your life.......Remember its your life.....your life does not belong to emotions....

Its summer time and most of us that have resided on the East Coast have had a hard winter with snow and all and now the beautiful sun is out to give us all an opportunity to receive some wonderful warmth and get a natural serotonin up lift from the sun. Letting fear and panic get in the way from something were not use to and preventing us from experiencing joy and happiness is depriving one from a quality of life....not to mention the beautiful whispers from the Lord.....

WOW Don what a beautiful statement. I love what you wrote. Imagine if you never would have stepped out in Faith what blessings you might have missed.

Sanmannn I do hope you find the peace and spirit of God within you and that it rises up to see the many blessings God has in store for you.

I saw this quote and I think its so empowering.

""Worry is interest paid on trouble before it comes due."

Thank you all for your wonderful support and advice.

Don you have a wonderful and awesome testimony. It definitely made me ponder on the possibilities that I might have missed or missed already in life. If I didn't confront panic and or fear/anxiety I don't think I would have the great memories now.

Thats so true what you wrote sanmannn. I think too many of us including myself have allowed fear/panic to control us. We have allowed it to make decisions for us in life instead of using the word of God including logic and moving forward. If one could sit back and reflect on all the opportunities that have been losed due to allowing fear and panic take control we might have a more quality life....

I think many individuals allow an over flow of emotions to totally run them versus true and relevant logic. Now I did use to be one of those individuals that would panic when approaching unknown territory instead of allowing logic and truth pave a path for me to follow and know that I serve a living God that never sleeps nor slumbers. I may not have power in certain situations but I have a choice on how I want to respond to a situation......and God alone has all power!
