First of All,
Ive done this program, and ive also read lucindas book, "Panic to Power". She talk about being spiritual.. She doesnt preach to anyone about her own personal beliefs..
And it shouldnt be done in the forums either.
Your relationship with God is personal,some of the posters i understand are upset. But, you cant come to anxiety forum and start telling people they are going to hell, or how to pray, or anything else. This is a forum for Anxiety and Depression.. Its about the WHOLE, not a small segment. I think everyone appreciates the program.. and the skills we are able to learn..
But,, assuming everyone is going to be comfortable with what is being said in spirituality section, is wrong. And i think the admin said it very well...
It has nothing to do with Satan, or the enemy. It has to do with working this program and following the skills and tools set out in it. It covers the WHOLE,, the body, mind and spirit working together to help people with anxiety...

To be honest I was not talking about anything but what got me through and I was just reading others replies and thought I share a few word of expresiion to the two that were having what I read was causing the admin. to come in, I am just a quest here and not trying to impose on any one but I know from the facts and forgive meI will never cause harm to no one. Read it again.

This is not meant to offend anyone, it's just a simple question, but if you're in the spirituality section, wouldn't the posts be spiritual? I can understand keeping it out of other forums. So why can't the ones who don't want it stay away from this one forum? And those who want and need it can preach, praise and bless away in here?

Thank you Acamp for writting it so wonderfully and gently put. I agree with you. Thank you Admin for your opinion....Amazing how loud the Glory of the Lord is!!! If many recall by relistening to Lucinda's program (session 2,3) she clearly gives honor to God for helping her....not anyone else. If individuals do not want to hear about God then why are they here in this forum moreover on this topic. Members should not becoming in and attacking other members for what they wrote that was not even addressed to them that is wrong and a violation of the rules here. If one does not appreciate what another wrote...whom are you to judge??? We are responding in the correct forum. There are many forums here on this site that do not reflect God. There are arenas here for every aspect of every individual. This site was designed as the program clearly states to share with one another which tools they use and or used to help. We may need many of tools and those are Lucindas words... (sess.3) My most powerful tool is God!!

Good morning everyone,

There isn't a problem 'with' the spirituality forum at all, the problem is when people start multiple threads (and this happens in every forum not only yours) they all show in the Top 5 in the upper left hand corner of the website which in effect blocks out any questions or comments that other people post about. These multiple threads then remain in that position until an anxiety question is posted. As soon as everyone answers the spirtuality threads it bumps them back to the top again thus burying the people who have anxiety, depression, and/or program questions.

One of the first places 90% of the people look when they first enter the website is to see what the current Top 5 threads are which is normal for any site that has this feature. This is why the admin's are recommending 1 or 2 daily threads from the spirituality section. It's not a matter of someone going into that forum because they don't have to scroll down and click on it, by clicking on a top 5 thread you automatically wind up in it. The only way to stop that is to take the Top 5 threads off the website and StressCenter.com does not want to do that.

We are trying to find something that works for everyone on the site + enforce the rules at the same time which will be done that we will promise and it has no bearing on what our religion or belief is, this is our job which we as admin's take seriously.

Hopefully we can come to some type of resolution which fits all of us.

I think many of you here are feeling that if one believes in God, they are therefore Christian. If they aren't Christian they are all lumped into one, single other category ... the sinners, the non believers, the devil's workers, who do not believe in God. That's simply not true. There are many faiths that believe in God other than Christianity and they should be given their space in here as well. But if you guys are going to post multiple threads on the same topics, there's no room for any other faith. True, new members are coming to this site every day, possibly via a google search, looking for answers to their anxiety and depression. If all they see in the top 5 posts are spiritual posts, they are gonna grunt and turn back to google to find another site that actually DOES give the information they were searching for. Within reason, the spiritual area has always worked so please, let's just be reasonable about it. If you get greedy, complain, and make demands, you'll get everything taken away and I'd hate to see that happen.

I guess I'm stil being niave, but if medications were being talked about all the time, that's what would be there and a lot of people are not really interested in those.
You can't help what is popular to talk about. If you have but one thread a day, several people will still answer and by sheer volume, it will still be clogging up the top 5.
I'm just looking, like everyone else, for a happy medium where the maximum number of people are helped.
