Your helpful scriptures???
Since there are times when I have felt like I have lost it with anxiety and stress and having a child with autism, and I am learning more that it is not me, but it is God in me that can accomplish His will, these scriptures help me, and I hope they will help someone else.
"I begged the Lord three times to take this problem away from me, and He said to me, 'My grace is enough for you, because My power is made perfect in weakness.' I will have pride in my weaknesses and have joy because of them, so Christ's power can be in me" (2 Corinthians 12:8-9).
This one helped me while coming out of a nervous breakdown which was one of my greatest fears. Keep in mind my son had just been diagnosed, and I didn't have this program, and I didn't have the help on here so I am not saying that anyone on here is going to have a nervous breakdown, but if you have already this may help. I didn't know why my worst fear of "being crazy" seemed to have come true, and God said to me from Psalm 37(which I highly recommend to everyone on here) Psalm 37:24
"Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His hand. "
This let me know that eventhough I fell, I still had hope because it wasn't as bad as it would have been had God not been helping me:). It wasn't over:).
And finally, it's just my personal experience from what I've been through that sometimes I have an issue with people saying that God never gives you more than you can handle. I know about the scripture about with each temptation there being a way out, and I believe that; however, I do feel that we all at times can go through things like the loss of a loved one, etc. that seem like more than we can handle, and we can be in great pain. If this is so, sometimes well meaning people may say that scripture, and the person may feel like they should be able to handle the pain because they are Christians so something must be wrong with them because they feel like they aren't handling it. For me it was my son being diagnosed with autism. I was talking to God about that scripture and that issue one day after thinking about it for years, and when I went home that evening the following scripture appeared to me twice:
"We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired even of life. Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead (2 Cor. 1:8-9)."
To me, sometimes we go through things that we just can't handle, and we do feel hopeless, but God can and will always help us when we rely on Him and not just ourselves.
I hope something in here helped somebody, and I do like the scripture about endurance and temptation. It's just that I feel sometimes it may get misused so I hope that doesn't offend anyone. If it helps you, that's all that matters, and God uses different scriptures to speak to all of us at different times:).

I bought this program to review and then pass on to a loved one who suffers from severe depression and anxiety. I wanted to learn about this program before I have my loved one review. I will be checking in with this online communitity for further bibical scriptures to read. I truly believe that the symptions that my loved one is experiencing are an attack from Satan. I am taking authority against our ememy to fight off of the attacks of my loved one. If anyone has any scriptures that they would like to share concering this topic as I go through this program, it would be greatly appreciated.

What a wonderful idea to share scripture with each other that brings comfort to us and reminds us that God loves us and is always there for us!
Isaiah 41:10 reminds us "Not to be fearful because God is always with us, not to be discouraged because HE is our God. He promises to strengthen us, to help us, and to uphold us with HIS rightous right hand"
John 14:27 (Jesus promises the Holy Spirit) MY peace I leave with you; MY peace I give to you. I do not give as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
1st Peter 5:7 Give all your worries to God, because HE cares about you.
(I struggle sometimes with obeying this commandment. And yes, this is a commandment. It's easy turn SOME of the worries over but find it hard to turn them ALL over. I find that when I try to handle things on my own that the problem/worry just escalates. So why am I so hard-headed?? I wish I knew! Maybe I want to "fix" it on my own I suppose so I can take the credit. Who knows?
God offers a wonderful command and promise in Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in ALL your ways (I'm pretty sure this includes worries) acknowledge HIM, and HE will make your paths straight."

Have you read "The Bondage Breaker" by Neil Anderson? I highly recommend it, it is full of scripture regarding satanic influence. For anyone else who hasn't read, it deals with more than Satan's influence; gives foundation of who we are in Christ (many things & blessings - that people forget, especially "us")...I should re-read. Anderson has other good books, he started Freedom in Christ Ministries. Before posting, I went to look for the book (couldn't find) but found "Lies Women Believe and the TRUTH that Sets Them Free" by Nancy Leigh DeMoss (a very respected author) - I haven't read - yes it will now be on my end-table! (the Lord has His ways!) The first verse in it:
"I have come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly"! John 10:10

"There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death" Romans 8:1-2
We condemn ourselves - why? Maybe I make a law & try to keep? (say perfectionism)...adding to God's Law is sin, worry is sin - yet all I need to do is RECOGNIZE and repent and ask the Holy Spirit to help to avoid these paths. God doesn't want to condemn but to help, and bring us to Himself.
"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." Galations 5:1
"Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life." Proverbs 4:23

Have you read "The Bondage Breaker" by Neil Anderson? I highly recommend it, it is full of scripture regarding satanic influence. Thank you so very much. many of you have no idea to what outcome you are affecting people. you all have given me some hope.

God will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews). God wants us to be empowered to be his children and not to live in fear. We are blessed who perseveres and will have to face trials to understand our heavenly father and become his children. This has helped me in my nervous breakdowns. God works through his people to help others and consistently and persistently is with us. God so love us that He gave His one and only son not to condemn the world but to save it. That is how special we should see ourselves since He sacrificed his only son for us all so that we may know the real and blessed life with Him.

I have a deck of scripture cards that my husband took to work. I saved one at my computer. I'll write the scripture and also what it says underneath.

One that has gotten me thought a lot!!! Meditating on this verse got me through the week after one of my "meltdowns".
