Indysgirl....

Im so sorry your feeling so frustrated. And thats what it is. It seems like we push and we push and we push and there should be progress but sometimes we just dont see it.

Its so hard to mingle with the people inour lives and feel we are so different but your not...everyone feels the feelings of anxiety just some are much better at being less affected by it. You will get there I promise.

You didnt mention your program do you have it? If you do and you stopped or you arent really giving it your all then pick it up again. Im serious you say your pushing through and not feeling better....you wont if you dont apply the skills.

We can all just steam roll through life and its obsticles but if you dont do with with the right approach you are just "pushing" and no one can run at that pace. The program teaches us to use a gentle set of skills to practice everyday its not about getting in that car in a sheer panic and doing it anyway...thats not the idea. You need to use your skills the positive talk, the breathing, the eating right, getting enough rest....life altering skills that balance your everyday life so that you as a person are more healthy, calm and balanced to get in that car and go without the panic. Do you see the difference.

The way your approaching your anxiety is going to only make you exhausted, frustrated and angry and hopeless....but the good news, The GREAT news is you have everything you need to approach it different.

Please take another look at what your doing.....am I right? Are you in constant panic and just pushing through life? Thats not going to work.....do the program....learn the skills....use those skills EVERYDAY of your life and your entire world will calm down and you will be able to push onto the next thing WITHOUT the severe panic your feeling....I know this works....

Try.
Please.

Indysgirl,

I have been and in some areas are where you are right now. I have a hard time at work some days and others are great. I start praying when I feel like I can't do it anymore. I have prayed many times for the Lord to just take me, but then I learnt that my family needs me and most of all I haven't done all that the Lord needs me here to do. There are sooo many that need saving and I need to help their souls as much as I can. You are too here for a reason. I still haven't been back to church which is what I miss the most, but I have been doing my own studies and praying more for others because of it. I feel like I was called to this site and to the prayer confrence and to speak to people on here. Keep your head up and remember that it will get better. I wasn't able a few months ago to go into a store and now I go without being on the phone. I also finally after years went across a bridge actually a few and it felt good. Baby steps are good and pray before going to work that the Lord will give you a sound mind so that you can make it without having a panic attack. God bless you!

Indysgirl, You definitely are not alone. I've completed the program and still have my struggles. I've even felt like you this week. I went to bed early tonite but as you can see by the time have not slept well.My time is actually 3:45am so just know I'm here praying for you and myself as well. God hears us, others feel our pain. We need to hear from you cuz its been a while since you first posted. We all want to know if you're doing better. Please write.

Sometimes we need to get off the pity pot and be thankful to God for all the wonderful gifts in our lives. If you can walk, talk, see your ahead of a lot of people in this world. Put your faith and trust in the Lord and he will get you through anything. Remember "Half measures availed us nothing". You can do it I think you just need some encouragement and maybe a kick in the pants.

Indysgirl-
I am feeling the same way. I try to think positive as much as possible, but sometimes anxiety just takes over your body to where you have no control. As much as I have tried to push through its all I can do. I am exhausted.
