You folks really know how to lift a guy up!
Regarding the ability to be a more usful instrument to the Lord because of my weakness, there have been several times when God put in my heart that a person I was talking to was not "standoffish" or "aloof" - rather they were simply filled with anxiety and doing there best to maintain - as a matter of fact, my first date with my future wife was one of those occasions. When I started telling her about my experience with panic attacks, the defenses went down and the last sixteen years have been filled with mutual understanding.
Blessings to you all,
Joe

Matthew 10:19-20

Do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

I've learned the hard way that we will not always be the best witness that we should be. There have been many times in the past few years that I couldn't even pray for someone and not even for myself. Living my life for the Lord 24/7 seemed way too difficult but I hung in there and grew stronger little by little and am getting stronger every day! We will be weak at times (anxiety....) but must hang in there and do our very best, never giving in or giving up! These problems have made me stronger, yes even stronger than I was before but it's how we learn and grow and handle ourselves through these difficult times that makes us who we are. :)
