Tara,
Our prayers are with you also. You will be fine. I have heard of this problem, and it is very treatable, and you will be great and as good as new in no time. Keep your chin up, hand the worry over to God, and you will recover faster when you are treated. Let us pray and worry for you, if you want to look at tit that way. ;)

Habakkuk 3:19

The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds' feet and will make me walk )not to stand still in terror, but to walk) and make (Spiritual) progress upon my high places (of trouble, suffering, or responsibility)! For the Chief Musician; with my stringed instruments.

Whatever obstacles you may have right now in your life, I encourage you to go through them and not give up!

This was all taken out of The Everday Life Bible. amplified version - Joyce Meyer

Tara,

I also will keep you in my prayers. I'll pray that you find peace while you wait for your referral and in the days beyond.

OMG...I had that too! It's just a blocked gland. I ended up going to the ER at 3am because I thought my head was going to fill up with fluid...it hurt so bad. They gave me pain meds (which of course I didn't take), antibiotics, and told me to suck on lemon drops. It worked! Good luck!

Oh and also, the ER doctor asked me if I had been under a lot of stress lately....which I had.

Ok, saw ENT, he said likely benign, but had a

Update--any doctors in the house?? My pcp got the CAT scan and called me to tell me it showed benign lymph nodes to just recheck in a few months. Then the next day the ENT called me and said CAT scan was fine but I have a dental filling at the same level as the lump, so it did not show the lump and he now wants an ultrasound. He still said he was not concerned, but I certainly am now and am completely panicked. :(
