Hi All,

I will pray for all that are suffering and find themselves in such a deep valley that they can not see a way out.

I can provide you the encouragement that I can muster and find links that my heart is directed to share with you. None of you are alone.

First you have God right there beside you waiting to you out of this valley and tunnel you see no light at.

Believe it He will carry you:

Then you have the support and encouragement of many people on this forum, striving as best they can, to cope with their own problems and chaos going on in their lives, yet finding the time, and strength to selflessly provide support, encouragement, care and showing their love for all others they struggle to help.

However, all the links, counsel and guidance can not help you if you can not even make the effort to read and follow the advice and encouragement.

If you don't believe God is working to help, for those that do not believe, think of the lyrics and songs I point all to. Who inspired the song writer and singer? Would you still insist there is no God or that God is ignoring you or your prayers? The evidence is overwhelming, that is not the case. By what power or inspiration do I come to even attempt to guide, help and encourage and yest sometimes shake things up with some logic and probing questions to help people come to terms with the answers that are right there in front of your eyes, but you have to look to see them.

Yes, I am a soldier in His Army. My weapon against the opposition are not weapons fashioned by men, but I march on my knees with prayers inspired by the Holy Spirit.

I pray that by the power of, and all that is Holy, that the Almighty God of Israel take up my battle, and conquer this opposition to the living word of God.

For just as Jesus was tempted, I tell you Satan, that man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Satan, you and all your lies along with you have been defeated just as they were in the time of Yeshua-Jesus. I command you Satan in the name of Yeshua Jesus that you be gone you have no power over me or anyone here.

I pray that all here have a blessed day and encourage you as I tell you, you can and will defeat these demons that you struggle with. You will win, with God's help!
Life is too short to own an ugly boat. Step aboard for a wonderful journey!

Hi and Thank you wolverine,

You just proved what I was putting together while you were posting. In other words, I did not see your post as I was wrapped up in composing my prior post. But saw it after I made my post.

Any other non-believers, or any doubters who feel they are being ignored want to try to comment on this? Any other believers in the lies that are being made up your minds, that want to have those thoughts get smashed by the Almighty? I didn't think so! Satan you are defeated! It's over! Alleluia! Praise God! Elohim is eternal!

BTW, that includes these disorders! The power over them is in your hands. God saw to that! Amen?!

To all, you have my prayers and blessings! Go out and enjoy all the good things God has in store for you this day and everyday!

Hey, Jennkatz. I am new and just started today. My heart goes out to you. I know exactly how you feel. My husband has spent 9 years praying that this would be taken away from me, but I tend to look at things a little differently. I am a servant of God, and what I'm going through is nothing that is not common to man. I believe that God allows us to encounter difficult things for several reasons. First, so we learn to depend on Him. He is our source and supply for all we need. He is with us in this! He will never leave nor forsake us! He led us here. Second, I believe that He wants us to learn the lessons and skills needed to face this, deal with this and overcome this so that we in turn can help others who are going through the exact same thing. I can't tell you how much it meant to me to have a friend in the church who was a year ahead of me in dealing with depression and anxiety! She encouraged me. She taught me and even corrected me when my thinking was wrong. That was 9 years ago.Since then, my husband has become a pastor, and I can't tell you the number of times my experience with this battle has helped me to help others. We are in a living classroom. And we can be excited about the people we will be able to love and help later becuase we understand- REALLY UNDERSTAND!

Check with other churches in the area. See if any of them have a ladies' Bible study during a time when you are off of work. That would be another opportunity for Christian fellowship. That has helped me a LOT in the past.

I'm still fighting. That's why I'm here. I want complete freedom from this. I'm hoping that this will do the trick. I believe that God has led me to this. Our thinking is our own worst enemy.

I reccomend several books that have helped me over the years: GET OUT OF THAT PIT by Beth Moore, ME AND MY BIG MOUTH by Joyce Meyer, THE BATTLEFIELD OF THE MIND by Joyce Meyer and BOUNDARIES by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend, and FINDING HOPE AGAIN by Neil T. Anderson and Hal Baumchen. These are all available at a Christian bookstore or online from CBD.

I hope that this helps to encourage you to go forward. God trusts you with a special job of helping hurting souls once you are in control. You will have the joy of helping others in the future! I promise.

Hello everyone. In the past I ofetn felt that God had abandoned me in my anxiety/fear and depression. I read through many posts on these forums how God really helped people to turn their lives around from this disorder.

I started reading the Bible. Our parish priest recommended reading the Gospel , the New Testament Readings, the Psalms and Proverbs.
I sit daily with a pen and underline the scripture verses that touch my heart and speak to me.

I recently read this really good book called the Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer. I learned through it here on the forums. I also learned she has a TV show called Everyday life. I tuned in and liked what I heard. Her life circumstances growning up were very similair to mine.

She teaches about the Bible and God's promises to us contained within the Bible.

It has really helped me to understand that God loves each and everyone of us. He knows everything about us. We are no surprise to Him. He has a great plan for our lives if we just stop trying to do everything ourselves.

I have been a controling person all my life. I am beginning to really let my guard down and allowing God to guide me. I find that my anxiety/fear and depression are becoming more managable. I have come a long way but what I really know now is God is directing my steps.

There are so many wonderful resources avaiable to us. I believe God is guiding me. I must do my part to help myself but I be willing to allow God to do what I cannot do on my own.

It takes time but it is SO WORTH IT!
Take care and God Bless.

Hi all,

Sister Creepy, isn't it beautiful to be be still and now that He is God? That He is working to give you that blessed assurance that He is with you and all of His children?

bna, I think that if you continue to seek Him you will see His fingerprints on nearly everything in His creation all you have to do is be still and know that He is God, and look and listen very intently at Jesus, and you will realize that is what He wants you to do, that is the better part. when you go to the link noted just ahead of this read verses @ 10: 38-42.

As you move forward, in this journey that is unfolding right before your very eyes, take Him up on "The Invitation" and test this, It will leave you Speechless as you move with "Great Expectations." It will just make you say "Whatever" I am going to live my "next 5 minutes" like is is my last 5 minutes to do it all over again and declare "I Do Believe" as you move to go through this "Journey" "With Hope"; so do like Mary is showing us and "Be Still and Know" and I am sure you will find it is the better part. This will help you realize that you are in no better place. If you miss any of the links you'll what God is speaking to you and who have an open yet inquiring mind. Why do I do this? It is for the sake of the call.

As I strive, for "His Higher Ways", as a good soldier in His army, and to show myself to be joined to the vine attached to the branches, as I get "lost in the shadows of the cross and for the kind of Joy that can only come from knowing how much God loves us; I do so for His Praise and Glory. Amen

The bottom line is "don't let the fire die" and keep your eyes on Jesus as in the the example of Lazarus' sister Mary. Keep you eyes and ears fixed intently on Jesus, and know that "He is still listening."

Can you hear and see Him now?
