Who am I
That the Lord of all the earth. Would care to know my name. Would care to feel my hurt.
That the eyes that see my sin. Would look on me with love and watch me rise again.
Who am I
That the bright and morning star. would choose to light the way. For my ever wondering heart.
That the voice that calmed the sea. Would call out through the rain and calm the storm in me.
Not Because of who I am but because of what you've done. Not because of what I've done but because of who you are.
I'm like a flower quickly fading. here today and gone tomorrow. A wave tossed in the ocean. A vapor in the wind.
Still you hear me when I'm calling. Lord, you catch me when I'm falling and you've told me who I am....I AM YOURS!
"Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world".

someone in Phx...If you liked that, then you would probably like the song even more. It's on you-tube. "Who am I" is the name and it's by Casting Crowns.

I LOVE this song and I LOVE "Casting Crowns"...another song that would hold true to this board, is "I will praise you in this storm"...it has helped me in soooo many ways to sit and just LISTEN to all the words. We ARE NOT alone in our troubles, ALL people go through something at one time or another. I PRAISE God and give thanks for EVERYTHING, even "IN THE STORM".

Hi , I'm just starting the program today. I got the box yesterday and it is really great, but hard work to make myself see what I have been saying to myself. I am relaxing and I can feel the recovery happening already. I had a positive thing happen, tonight. I was able to go to my in-laws for a Christmas dinner and it was so hard because I was anticipating with fear all day, because at Thanksgiving with these guys I had a severe attack of anxiety that caused a hiatal hernia and sent me to the er. five days later. I'm fine of course, but I have been living in constant fear ever since. I had the most peaceful time tonight I just wanted to rejoice with people who could understand this great accomplishment! God is good!

Mom of 6...you know I posted some of that song back in July on this forum. Sometimes I don't put down ALL the words bacause it doesn't sound the same when you read it as to when you listen to it. Another good one of theirs is "East To West". The first time I heard it. It was like wow...how did you know that is what I needed to hear. They truly have a God given talent to touch people's hearts. They have 4 of their Christmas songs on their web-site that they play and you can down load them for FREE!
They are so "real"...you know. everything I have ever read about them tells me they are in this to glorify God....not for themselves. I know that's what my faith teaches me....to give God the glory. To let Jesus shine thru me. Not the other way around.

Jane Re-New,
It amazes me when I read other peoples post and see how much we have in commen. I went to my in-laws party Fri. night. I didn't know if I would be able to make it or not. I too had a bad panic attack. Mine was actually the day after thanksgiving but it was with the in laws.
I am so glad that you had a good time with your family! Mine turned out good as well. I have learned that with every little step we make with ATTACKING(literally) this anxiety...we get a little more sronger. Until we are strong enough to make it on our own. We have to fight this daily. Just like anyone who is a believer...we have to fight the enemey everyday. I'm learning that for me this actually goes together.
