Thanks for all of your responses. I have been having a hard time through all of this anxiety. I go to the doctor and he does not give me any comfort. I have found that God is the best therapist through this tough time. I do have more poems I have written and I will post some of them. Also, I do not mind if you copy or share these poems.

My Peaceful Place

I set out on a journey for a peaceful place
I had to find it in a desperate way
I searched high and looked down low
Where it was, I did not know

I looked to the mountain and in the stream
I searched the house and looked to my dreams
I wandered about endlessly
Hoping to find this unsatisfied need

The more I searched, the less I found
I could not understand why I was bound
I looked and searched everywhere
And finally my peace was there

It was not so hard to find after all
It was quite simple, rather small
I looked to the heavens up above
God surrounded me with his love

your poems are truely and inspiration and I have read them several times the last several days. I am keeping them for a scrapbook that I am making for my journey to recovery.
Thank you again you are a blessing and have an amazing gift. :)

That was great, thx for sharing! I also turn to my Bible and other inspirational books for encouragement. Every little bit helps and I'm hoping if I stay focused on trying to get over it the Lord will one day make all of this disappear.

What a wonderful poem. Thank you so much for writing it. I am currently going through an anxious spell, and have been now for 3 weeks, it's rough and I keep praying that God take this burdon from me, but so far it just seems like it's getting worse, rather then things scareing me the littlest feeling of anxiousness takes over and consumes me. I think the hardest part for me is that I'm a youth minister, a believer in Christ, so I don't understand why this is happening to me. Is it a disease? I ordered my free kit, but haven't recieved it yet. However, it is promising to see that other Christian struggle through the same thing I do. Again, thank you, I really think your poem will help.
