You Are An Overcomer

God created you to be an overcomer! Sometimes, it's easy to get down and discouraged when things aren't going the way you planned. If you go around thinking, "It's never going to work out" or "It's never going to get better", you limit what God can do. But if, when you face difficulties, you dig your heels in—knowing that God is bigger than your problems—your faith will open the door for God to turn your negative situation around!

Isaiah 54:17 says that, "No weapon formed against you will prosper. This is your heritage as children of the Lord." Notice you have a heritage. You have rights and privileges because you belong to Christ. As long as you keep God first place in your life, you have a hedge of protection around you, a hedge of favor, and a hedge of mercy. When difficulties come, because you are His child and honor Him, those difficulties won't prosper in your life. When it's all said and done, God will take what the enemy meant for evil and turn it around for your good.

Declare over yourself, by faith, that you will overcome every obstacle. Declare that every dream and desire God placed in your heart will come to pass. Declare that you have the favor of God and that whatever you set your hand to will prosper. As you speak those words of faith, the Lord will work on your behalf and you will live as an overcomer all the days of your life!

Thank you so much for yet another truely inspirational post!

It comes as such a great time for me. Yesterday I was feeling great that I had overcome one of my limitations at the pool with the kids, and then today I was feeling like, maybe a panic attack is in the works. Mostly because I got up early I think. I was starting to have the anxiety of "is this ever going to get better?" creeping into my head. Thanks again for your inspiring words!!

Robin,

That was such an inspiration. I wish more people would see how their words effect their situation. I see people around where I live saying things about their children about how thay are horrible and that their kids are always bad and then their children turning out just like the things they have cursed their kids with. I don't understand why anyone would say those things about their children. I hope that this blesses all that read it so that they realize that their words are either a blessing or a curse.

mom of 6 you are a beautiful soul I`m blessed to have read your post I just started the program this week and was feeling like I was cheating on GOD because its not a biblical program I dont think I would have given it a chance if I didnt hear someone talk about the LORD while I was listening to one of the tapes near the end of it Lucinda finally said something about GOD I said to myself YES! finally she mentioned The LORD and then I came online and found that there seems to quite a few Christians in the program you are right I am a conquerer with Him in my life thank you sooo much for your encouragement

Hi, I just started the program and really appreciated what you wrote about overcomers. I am a Christian and was reluctant to do the program since it didn't talk about God. I'm so glad to see other Christians offering encouragement from the Word of God. I know that our strength and ability come from the Lord. I'm believing him for the physical energy and the strength to change my thinking so that my body will follow with total healing. He wants us to overcome so that we can fulfill the great things He has called us to. I keep telling myself what Jeremiah 29:11 says about my future. With God nothing is impossible!!! All I can say is that post brought tears to my eyes and I really needed to hear it today. I have been in a battle with someone who clearly is like satin for the past year. I lead my way with God through this situation and this person continues to declare evil upon me. Your words were perfect for what I needed to hear. Proof to me that God is with me and has built a hedge of protection around me and my family.
