It's a Light Affliction

1 Corinthians 4:17
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. (KJV)

Notice that the Scripture says our light affliction. That is all it is, a light affliction. Whatever you or I are going through is light. That means it's temporary. It's only around for a little while. It is subject to change. And notice that the things that are not seen are eternal.

We can't call a problem what it is. Call it what it is going to be. We are in control of our lives and our challenges. According to the Scripture, whatever it is now is subject to change. I'm sure most of us have seen things that are "subject to change without notice"... If its good, it is subject to change and get better. So we say with our mouth, I am the healed! And say with our mouth, I will have more money this year than I ever had in my life!. Say with our mouth, This will be the best year of my life, it will be divine for me, even if it is not divine for anybody else!

You will have what you say, because there is power in your words. There is life in the power of the tongue. So release the light of God into your life with the words of your mouth. That is why we should say All is well! Everything else is subject to change. It is going to change. If it happens wrong, it is going to change. Our attitude should be, "Been there, done that. It will change". How many times have we said, "This too shall pass and it has..."?

Faith-filled words dominate the laws of trials every time. So deliberately line up your words with the Word of God. We must deliberately decide to be loosed, and say, I am loosed, even when it doesn't look like we are loosed. Say we are loosed even when we don't feel like we are loosed. And say you we are loosed even when nothing seems to agree with the fact that we are loosed. That is how we get to be loosed. We are moving in Faith!

Very Good Post Believer!

I always enjoy reading your threads. They are such an uplift and inspiration. Its amazing how much value we put on things that are temporary.....some may put alot of drama into it, some may put just what it needs....simple attention know that the challenge will pass...or the blessing will become greater. Thank you for that wonderful reminder.
