I purchased a small yet, most intriguing book the other day. I am so inspired by Joel Olsteen and I would like to share a reminder, in bible terms, if you will. We are all conquerers through Jesus Christ, who is the ultimate healer.

" Jesus said, "In the world you will have tribulations: but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world"(John 16:33 nkjv) He wasn't saying that troublesome times wouldn't come; He was saying that when they do, we can choose our ATTITUDES. We must take responsibility for our minds and our actions. As long as we keep making excuses and blaming the family tree, our environment, past relationships with other people, our circumstances, and attributing blame to God, Satan, ANYONE or ANYTHING, we will never be truly free and emotionally healthy. To a large extent, we can control our own destinies. It's not your circumstances that have you down. it is possible to be in one of the biggest battles for your life and still be filled with joy and peace and victory- if you simply learn how to choose the right THOUGHTS. We can choose to believe that God is greater than our problems"

Be of good cheer and peace, God is still in the miracle business :D
God bless,
Robin
"O God, you are my God. Earnestly I seek you;my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is BETTER than life,my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name, I will lift up my hands." Psalms 63

oops, I guess some of you may like to know what book it is ;) "Your Best life now" for Moms. I think it would be beneficial for anyone to read, not just Mothers or women for that matter. It's very inspiring!!!

I read "Your Best Life Now" over two years ago and have passed it along to many people. It really helped me and now that you mention it I think it's time for me to reread and probably get even more out of it since I'm in a much better place now since starting this program.

I'm on session 3 and I plan on taking a few extra weeks with this lesson because I do believe it's important for me to get a good grasp of this positive self talk. Although it sounds like I'm just beginning I can't believe what difference this program has made in my life. One of my goals was to be in the moment when my daughter graduates from college so I could savor every second and tomorrow is the day she graduates and I can honestly say I am ready for it. With the progress I've already made I feel like my future is as exciting as hers is.

Have a great weekend everyone!!!

I'm not very religious, but I have to admit that I TiVo his program every week. I can't wait to read his book.

I have been reading Joel Osteens book
BECOME A BETTER YOU. I would recommend this book to everyone. It is so positive and helped me so much. I borrowed it from the library but plan to buy it because I want to have it to reread from time to time. Some of his quotes I have put in a spiral notebook to read everyday.
It truly is a great book. Check it out.

I don't have one specific religion I follow but I do love listening to Joel. A very positive speaker who instills a lot of hope and good feelings no matter what religion you are.
