I had this topic up yesterday and for some reason it was errored? This really hit home and I know many of us have been hurt by someone. I hope this helps as it has helped me.

Extend Forgiveness

Today's Scripture

“Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do” (Luke 23:34).

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

When you’ve been hurt or offended, sometimes it’s tempting to hold on to unforgiveness. But we have to remember, when people wrong us, our battle is not against flesh and blood. In other words, that person who hurt you is not the real enemy. The Bible says that your adversary is the devil, and he knows that if you don’t forgive, then your prayers won’t be effective. Unforgiveness puts up a barrier in your life to the power of God. In fact, if we don’t forgive others, we can’t be forgiven by God. But when you choose forgiveness, you open the door for God’s healing power to flow through your life. Disarm the enemy in your life today by choosing forgiveness. Bless those who curse you and pray for those who wrong you. Look at what Jesus did—when He was betrayed, beaten, mocked, and disrespected, He chose forgiveness. As you follow His example, you will open the door for God to move in your life, and you’ll live in victory in every area of your life!

A Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father, thank You for forgiving me and giving me new life. I choose today to extend the gift of forgiveness to others. I bless those who have wronged me and ask You to heal every broken place in my life. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

I have been dealing with this issue with my mother in law and I have now forgave her for the wrongings that she has done because I know that she needs prayer more than what anyone thinks. I know that the enemy is behind her making her do the things that she does. I just wish more could see what really controls the people that are going through pushing people away. I have had so much comfort through alot of what I have asked for forgiveness from and now I am moving forward in a new direction. Thanks for this because it put it in a way that all can understand and with that forgiveness the trials of anxiety are lifted from us immedialtly! God bless you and all your wonderful Holy Spirit filled advise because I know what controls what you say on here! God bless!

He Delivers You From All

Today's Scripture

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all” (Psalm 34:19).

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

Aren’t you glad we serve a Deliverer today? An affliction is defined as the cause of persistent pain or distress. You might feel afflicted today, but God is working to bring you out of that difficult situation. It may not be in the way you thought, but you have to trust that God has your best interest at heart. I know that afflictions can take on many forms—a sickness or hardship, a temptation, a coworker or family member. There are so many things that can come against us, but God promises in His Word that no weapon formed against us shall prosper! Those afflictions are only temporary. Stand in faith believing that God is on your side. Remember, you and God are a majority. It doesn’t matter what your circumstances look like, get up every morning and say, “This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.” As you stand and trust the Lord, He will deliver you out of all your afflictions, and you’ll see His hand of blessing in every area of your life.

A Prayer for Today

Father in heaven, thank You for making me righteous through the blood of Jesus. I trust that You have a good plan for me, and that You will deliver me out of all affliction. Thank You for Your strength and peace in my life. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

yes thank you...I come to you in the name of Jesus! Please lord humble my heart with anger, apatience, peace and forgivness. Lord, i know as humans sometimes we are overwhelmed by our emotions and we say the wrong things out of hurt, confusion, anger, disappointment..Lord, please help me to understand the reason for the disappontment and false accusations people on here held against me...Thank you for your unfailing love and your blessings that you have bestowed uopn me. I also pray that you humble the hearts of others who are causing pain to us due to their own insecurities. I know you know the desires of our hearts and i ask that we all find peace and where forgiveness is needed please humble us. Thank you lord, in Jesus name i pray...Amen and amen!

That was a really good prayer HEIS. I know its hard to bless those who cause us pain. But the blessing is so much greater when we do this. I pray HEIS that God will touch you and give you all the peace and comfort till your cup runneth over.

i think that if someone hurt others feeling then they should ask for forgivness.that is what is right for a CHRISTIAN to do but let GOD be the judge before we and i include myself start judging others and we get off on the wrong track..sometimes i can see where this is going and i do not like the feel of it..
we have to love other and treat others as we would want to be treated. that said have a good night and i might not come back to this site for awhile..now i can see how the devil works through others and no names were mentioned.THE DEVIL CAN DO ANYTHING god CAN DO EXCEPT LIVE A CHRISTIAN LIFE.that is my thoughts only.this site is suppossed to uplift others not knock them down..
now i know why others have left this site and never returned.be blessed

Always try to forgive those that trepass against you for that is what the good Lord asks of us. He will always give us the guidance we need if we just listen to Him. I believe that forgiveness is very important in our lives. Sometimes it may be hard but with His divine guidance it is possible.

What if you can forgive others but you can't forgive yourself?
