I would just like to take the time to give a hardy thank you to all the men and women in the armed forces. I think you all are doing a top notch job! I was born in 1963 (yes, I'm old, lol) and of course the war in Viet Nam was just getting started. As a child, I could remember watching the war on the news, but as you can imagine, it didn't impact me simply because of my age. When I got older, I had a boss that was in Bravo Company 1/26th, and he would tell me about things he witnessed. He lied about his age, and went there when he was only 17 years old. It really made me think hard about the men and women who serve for us. Now I have a father-in-law that served in World War II. He was in the 101st Airborne. He fought in Holland, the Normandy Invasion, as well as the Battle of the Bulge. It's incredible to me (and him as well) that he even made it out alive. Over 20,000 people lost their lives in the Battle of the Bulge alone. He recently opened up about things he witnessed. It's absolutely incredible to me the things these soldiers had to endure. Time and time again, because of my father-in-law, I think about all the men and women that sacrificed their lives, in the name of freedom. Veterans, and current soldiers, again, I'd like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart. May God bless you always, you're doing a phenomenal job! I hope and pray for your safe return to your loved ones.

Most respectfully,

Jim

Amen. I thank those who have served also, the men and women away from their families and pray for a safe return. And I pray for the families at home. May nothing like 9-11-01 ever happen to our fellow Americans again.

I also thank all of them too. I have alot of friends that are over there and alot of friends husbands that are over there as well. I do know some of the things that some of them have gone through and I pray that they will all get back to the USA safe and sound and able to deal with all the things that they had to go through. On the front page of my newspaper there was a picture of a sister that broke down at her brothers funneral. It broke my heart. I can't imagine what all the families are going through. God bless them all!
