It doesn't matter what type of battles we are facing in the life, because if God be for us, who can be against us. How do we know that we have God in our lives? The Bible says you will know them by the fruits they bear..

These nine Fruits of the Spirit are:
1. Love - charity
2. Joy
3. Peace
4. Longsuffering - patience
5. Gentleness
6. Goodness
7. Faith or Faithfulness - trusting God and being trustworthy
8. Meekness - humility
9. Temperance - self control

And the greatest of these is "Love"..
If you are born of "God" then you are born of "Love"!!!!

We all get angry, from time to time..Anger is a human emotion, but, we do not hate anyone. For our souls have been made perfect, and only know the meaning of the word "Love"...

It really doesn't matter what challenges come our way because we know that "He will keep in perfect peace all who trust in His name"!!!

We are going to be fine...God takes excellent care of His own..We just need to give all our burdens, cares, and anxieties onto Him...Cast them all upon Him, because He is FULL OF LOVE, MERCY, AND COMPASSION FOR US!!!! God is faithful through it all!!!

I truly believe the "key words" to overcoming anxiety and depression in the "Spirituality section of this program are Faith, Trust, Hope and Love!!!

If we have enough faith we can move all types of mountains in our lives. Faith is the "opposite" of fear. Have you ever heard the quote..Fear knocked at my door and Faith answered? I believe that we all have the capability to overcome fear with Faith!!!
If we desire to have more faith, then, all we need to do is ask for it...The Bible says,"You have not because you ask not!"

We need to trust God enough to cast all of our fears and anxieties on Him.. Just say it aloud. "God I am bringing all of these fears, burdens, and anxieties to you. I will cast them upon You, because I know that you have "mighty strong shoulders" and will take care of all these concerns for me. I trust every aspect of my life to you" Then, we just need to learn to leave them there, not to go back and try to pick up something we have already given to the Lord. Think of it like this...If you give something away, it no longer belongs to you...So, when we cast all our cares, concerns, frustrations, fears, and disappointments on the Lord, then, we need to just walk away from them. They are no longer ours but belong to our "Savior"...We need practice that "blind trust" that children have for those who love them. They blindly trust those who love them to take excellent care of them, and they just go on about their day!!! We need to learn to react in the very same way!!!

Hope is a belief in a positive outcome related to events and circumstances in one's life. Hope is the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best. To hope is to wish for something with the expectation of the wish being fulfilled, a key condition in unrequited love. Hopefulness is somewhat different from optimism in that hope is an emotional state, whereas optimism is a conclusion reached through a deliberate thought pattern that leads to a positive attitude.

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a wish fulfilled is a tree of life." We need to place all of our hope in the Lord and never-ever give up on our hopes and dreams!!! Remember, God wants us to be happy, and He is the one who gives us the desires of our hearts!!!

Speaking with the tongues of men and angels without "agape" love is worthless. Speaking with eloquence is greatly admired among men. Men with commanding voices are listened to. If what we say would be on par with God's angels in heaven and be not said in love.....it is as sound brass and tinkling cymbal. It amounts to nothing.

Sounding brass and tinkling cymbals make a sound and it is heard for a moment...but then it is gone. It leaves no lasting effect. This is the point of the phrase, there is nothing that remains. Further, if all you hear is these two sounds and you hear them repeatedly they can become irritating and annoying. We can become great students of the Bible, a scholar no less, and show great faith, but we have not love in our hearts we are nothing.....

If we give everything we have to the poor....it will impress people, it will make us outwardly look like really wonderful people, but we are not changed inside....it is worthless as far as having any effect on us, or on honoring the Lord. You see what pleases the Lord is what is in our hearts and why we serve. It pleases God when we have the same love in our hearts as He has for us.

And we need to love one another as God loves us. I think we need to realize that others will never be "perfect" and neither are we. We need to lower our expectations of others. God knows we are not perfect, so, why should we expect others to do and be the way that we "think" they should be. This isn't even being realistic.
God loves us "unconditionally" through all our imperfections, so, I believe we should love others with this "Unconditional love"...

Love is a very powerful weapon against our "adversary"....Love always wins in the end!!!

I always try to remember to use this phrase at the ending of my day..."Love Won!"...God Bless!!

Hi T-sis,

Thank you sis for your faithfulness, and for your love. When you feel the slings and arrows you will know it is because you are not of the world, but a faithful servant of the Lord; to which, you have every reason to boast!

It is the end result of the weariness that we feel when we go through a battle, or go through a very difficult trial. Most if not all people do as we have seen quite often throughout so many posts as you have seen here.

As Christians, we love the love and security and the hope of what is to come. We can look to our hope of eternal life and seeing the faces of all our loved ones that have gone before. So that we can cry with hope, let go with hope, that will see all their faces again because of that hope with in us.

We seem to forget that we are still in the flesh, and as long was we are in the flesh, we will experiences lows and periods of times when we feel abandoned. I am listening to a great sermon, at the moment. I wish I could make sure the many that have gathered here and expressed their feeling of abandonment may relate and be helped if I knew for sure they would listen to this sermon:
http://www.letstalkaboutjesus.com/downloadmp3.html

These are downloadable mp3 versions of all these daily shows. The one I am listening to at the moment is April 11, 2009 "Divine Abandonment"

I believe that once you listen to this program you will want to catch the daily programs. His is a ministry that I listened to since 1991. From the moment of the opening prayer, you will sense that there is something special that you will hear. You will.

I wish you would take a few moments to download the sermon and listen at your leisure and I know that it will be your pleasure. It's all free.

This is a very bold ministry. It is live counseling program that is open and anything can happen.

God bless all of you.

Gman..Bub...This guy sure does have a lot of insight on the Bible!!! I am sure all of us have felt abandoned at one time or the other.

When I read over Lauren's posts and really began to read the "Whys"..I, honestly, have to admit, that I did not have the answers to all of them!!!

This indeed, did bother me throughout the night.
She wanted to know a lot of things, which I honestly don't have the answers to...Such as, why does God allow children to go hungry, and/or suffer? I found myself questioning many of the Whys, in which, I had no answer!!!

I remember reading in the Bible that the "end" would come, once the Gospel was preached onto all nations. Then, I began to wonder about all those people who have died in between and didn't have the chance to hear the Good News...

I came to the conclusion that this could not have been held against them, since, they would not have been held accountable for things that never knew!!! Maybe, the passage that refers to us, also refers to them...Blessed is the man on whom God doeth not impute sin...I think this Scripture could mean the saved, as well as, those who have never heard the gospel!!! Or maybe, it could be the passage that says something to this extent..Without the law there was no sin...I probably did not quote that one exactly right!!!

I am sure we all have questions, but, honestly that is not the important thing. We do not even need to know the "Whys" of everything. We do not need to try and analyze everything to pieces!!! We just need to leave all the "Whys" to God. He knows "why" everything happens!!!

I do believe that God has a plan for each and every one of our lives!!! I know He has a plan for my life, and I just simply trust Him because I do realize God knows exactly what He is doing!!! And whatever may happen throughout my lifetime has to be part of that "plan"...

Thanks for sharing this ministry with me. I will probably listen to some more of his messages, since, I really enjoyed that one...God Bless...Thanks Again...Sis..

Good morning real smile!

I am glad to have you with us! I liked your signature, and it prompted me to sing a song that really speaks to our hearts. Please click here to to hear the song, not me singing. :)

We can do all things, through Christ who gives us strength! In our weakness, He is there to let us know that His strength is perfect, and carries us when we can't carry on. Indeed, His strength is perfected in our weakness. Let Go and Let God!

Have a blessed day!
