Malachi 3:3 says: 'He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver.'

This verse puzzled some women in a Bible study and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God.

One of the women offered to find out the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible Study.

That week, the woman called a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work. She didn't mention anything about the reason for her interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining Silver.

As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up.
He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to burn away all the impurities.

The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot; then she thought again about the verse that says: 'He sits as a refiner and purifier of silver.'
She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined.

The man answered that yes, he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed.

The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, 'How do you know when the silver is fully refined?'

He smiled at her and answered, 'Oh, that's easy -- when I see my image in it.'

If today you are feeling the heat of the fire , remember that God has his eye on you and will keep watching you until He sees His image in you.

Hi Sis,

What a wonderful analogy and insight on seeing God's face in the natural. It gives me cause to praise him all the more.

Lord, when we feel the heat of the fire in our lives, please give us the strength of courage and trust to know that you are working in our our lives to be a reflection of you and the work that you are doing in us. As we begin to understand, more and more of you and your ways, grant us the serenity and peace of mind, to trust that if you began the good work in us, You are and will be faithful to complete it in us. Not my will but yours be done in our lives. I ask all; in the precious name of Jesus. Amen!!!

I found this great link from one of our sisters in the Lord. It is a brief observation on God's perfect will. This faithful servant of the Lord is now passed on to be with the Lord, but during her lifetime of ministry, and through the power of the Holy spirit working in her, transformed so many lives, that it staggers the imagination. Her name, Cathrine Kuhlman. Please give an ear to her discussion on the subject of God's Will:

Here is a video of one lady, who's life was totally transformed as a result of the work done on her by the Holy Spirit, after she was spontaneously healed at a Catherine Kuhlman sermon. No laying on of hands. No prayers for her specific needs. She was just a member of the audience, and she refused to go along with or be part of the "side show" and just wanted to leave.

This lady, Delores Winder, was on the brink of death, and at that time, there was little the medical community could to really do to help her to manage her pain; thus, in order to help live the last few years of her life, somewhat free of pain, the doctors performed a last resort operation and burned several points in her spinal cord.

Please note, this procedure was seldom ever done as it is irreversible, but just watch to see what God does in her life. Wow, this lady was in the fire a long time, but became one of God's precious gemstones. Amen!

Please note, there are 2 videos that tell the story as fully as it can be done in the short video presentation, be blessed and please watch both videos:

I pray that all that have ears to hear, and eyes to see, and desire to see God working in the lives of His servants and those He calls out as His servant, be blessed by these living testimonials and confessions of the power of God's love and healing.

This healing power is at your disposal, if you really want it, and strive to do God's will work in your life, and even if you refuse to believe, as Delores Winder did, He wants to do something powerful for you. Don't just sit there, it is getting near time to face these God realities and He wants to give them to you!

May God's Love, Mercy, Grace and Peace be on all that read and act on this post. I pray for a miracle to come into your lives right now! Thank you Lord, for this new day that you have made that we be glad and rejoicing in it! I pray that You Lord, put a new song on our hearts, and a longing to sing praises to You Lord.

All this is done for His praise, glory and honor, and for the good pleasure and joy it brings to Him!
