I was abused by people in our church and by my father, who is a (retired minister). I try to believe in a merciful God, but I have suffered so much I feel that he has forgotten me. I pray every day, not to ask for these problems to go away, but for me to learn how to cope with them. I want to have faith but I think it takes more courage than I have right now.

When you say abused what do you mean, how? I'm so sorry to hear it.I'm glad you don'seem to blame God.I'd find another church if you haven't already, there you'll hopefully meet some loving, genuine Christians to befriend.

Get or stay in Gods word, pray and ask God to strenghten your faith that you are thankfully holding on to.It truelly saddens me to learn of this and my heart goes out to you.

Many others I'm sure will respond to you. This is probably one way in which God has chosen to help you,He's already at work giving what you need. Here you'll find plenty of caring supportive people who will gladly offer Godly advice, and support.

Remember,God loved you so much that He sent His Son to die on the cross for you.He greives for us more than we greive for ourselves.

I will pray for you,Liz

I pray you can find a church that is full of the Love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!!!!

May God help you to heal from your past hurts is my prayer!!!
