I just spent 3 days on a road trip with my sister in law and her family with my husband, I determined I would enjoy it and I did. a break through for me. Thank you all for your prayers. I knew I was wripped in the arms of God and if any thing was said or done I was sure I would not take offence, and Wow Life is so much eaiser now that I know who I am and allow others to be them, Takd NO Ofence, Be Less affected and more effective. This life is wonderfull!

" The reason our enemy, Satan, hates and fears the Word of God so much is because he knows that the Word is a powerful weapon against him. It assueres his defeat! That's why it is imperative that we learn to use the spiritual sword Ephesions 6:17 saus os tje Wprd.
A sword is a weapon with which one attacks an enemy. A sword in the sheath is of no value. It must be wielded, or taken from the sheath and appropriately used. The Word of God is the believer's sword, and we must learn to apply it accurately, We apply it by reading the Word daily, getting it down in our heart, and speaking it out our mouth. the beliver who does that is a major threat to Satan.
"And take the helmet of salvation and the sward that the spirit wields, shich is the Word of God. - Ephesians 6:17'

I thank God for His Word, and I thank Lucind for her direction, for taking the risk to give us her hard learned wisdom, and God directing me to find what she has put together to help us learn Who we Realy Are. God Bless us all and keep us safe.

"As Christins, our number one job is the development of personal potential, but the amount of underveloped, wasted potential in the world is pathetic, God places a part of Himself in each of us, Genesis 1:26 tells us that we are created in His image, and He is filled with potential - with God nothing is impossible.

Not long after I posted this prayer, my husband came in and told me "our hired hand has found a job he likes" We had been hoping he would. but we have plane tickets for Christmas with Mom and the our kids, on the 20th - 28th, and Keith is leaving the 19th, I had told his wife last week we had tickets. I am at peace with this hopefull but not knowing what to hope for. There realy isn't any way we can go now. So I am prayig that God directs our steps. I have put our job discription on the net, and there are a few candidates on there, but hiring would not help us to go.

In a way this is exciting, My husband has been dissapointed in our hand for years, but hopeing he would learn, in nearly 5 years he hasn't. I am excited to see what God has in mind for us next. We have been thinking about renting out the ranch, and reiring, but he realisn't ready to do that he expected to keep at it for another 2 years to get on SS to supplement our income. I am so excited I can hardly sleep tonight. I just know God is working on this rite now. I admit I was angry for a few hours, with the timing. but I only want to be in God's timing, and I just know we are. Thanks for you prayers, and your friendship.

December 7th The Flagas of our Fathers was a great show we saw in on Monday it finaly got to our town theater. Today all the flags at 1/2 mast. for the boy's at the bottom of Peral Harber.

Great Things Take Time; "Impatient people often do not hang around long enough to see the finish of really great things becasue great things take so much time to mature." See how the farmer waits expectantly for the precious harvest from the land. [See how] he keeps up his patient [vigil] over it until it receives the early and late rains. So you also must be patient. Establish your hearts [strenghten and confirm them in the final cetaint] = James 5;7,8 amp

The tapestry of history, is a thread of many colors, and shades of time. all knitted together, to lighten our path, for history repeats it self over and over. I find life exciting again, and a year ago I was to tired of it to go on. I am learing from this course to stay in the vally, not run up to the mountin peakes, in exhosteion, or fall in the pits of depression. but to keep my peace, and ride the tide. This dissapointment was hard to tell my mother I would not be there for Christmas after telling her I would. but it is teachig both of us how important it is that we let God Direct our steps, and keep walking the valley. konwing He is walking with us. This has affected me very little, and I find that, so encouraging. I have come a long way, from what I would have felt a year ago. I am excited as to what is in store for us next. Hopeing this Christmas if finding you in close fellowship with the Lord.

last night as we were coming home from our sundays schools CHRISTMAS party. as the wind was blowing hard...it was cold in the teens or 20s...after we got home i looked and some of top of the underpening had been blown under the bottom and was just wedged against concret blocks..after we got in the house... the dog had been real bad.. i will try not to laff...he was laying on the couch like he was so good.. but he had gone through every present that we had put together for the drand children and at candy and cookies lol..my wife was mad and he went to his box for awhile...i took him out of it before we went to sleep....as we prayed before we went to bed...i asked GOD to take care of us in the storm, as the wind kept blowing. what was done by the wind was material things and can be replaced...GOD was the one that made the way for us to get it this year. and i would not let the devil have it...we woke and the storm had passed...our prayers were answered as well.. keep on praying.. you better watch what you pray for.it might come true...
GOD BLESS...

Hi donp how do you do those nifty little pictures on the side? I'd like to learn how to do that.
I haven't checked in for awhile. I am doing so well. the ladies at work tell me I'm so happy it's creepy!!
I can't believe how BIG God has answered my prayer for help!! He doesn't do anything less than just right does He?
I have been praying for all of you as you go through this program. I am praying that we get the healing and direction we need to live lives for God and his purpose . when we are getting better we have more to offer those around us. I have become so much braver through this course. It is like a miracle to me. I'm not afraid all the time any more. I still have anxiety episodes, but many of them I can say, Nope, you are excitement. I just am thankful.

Thank each of you for your prayers as a collective group. It's hard for me to keep separate events in mind, but since God knows the whole picture, and he brought this particular group of people together at this particular time, we know he has something wonderful in mind. for each of us, and for those around us that the change in us is making.
That was a clumsy sentence, but I hope you catch my drift. All I can say is during the Holidays "Do All Things Slowly..." take time to enjoy each moment. Spend a lot of time thanking God. Don't worry about the little details. thay will take care of themselves...or not ;)Merry Christmas and Happy blessed holidays to all of you!
love and prayers,
Carol

Cheri, Don and Carol your encouraging words and lives are wonderful. Mine has been so up and down. I felt really up last time I wrote. Yesterday down and today kinda down. I'm getting back up because I was reading all about praising God and I took extra time with him. It felt good, also kinda sad cuz I know He waits for me and often I run to others inc. my online friends before Him. I'm thankful He proivided this program and each of you but I can't neglect Him in the process. God bless each of you and my prayer is a life of stability instead of all the ups and down. I need to stay focused and I'm not. Our son is moving out, which can be good. I'm cleaning a couple hrs. a wk.for my friend where he's staying and taking care of her l0 horses. He got a puppy..one that won't be small very long. It's a mantiff/lab..these dogs get very big. My son is 29,do you think with some added responsibility he might grow up?? I was going to do a post about "who's pushing your buttons" and make it a learning thread because I haven't learned it yet. He pushes my buttons like nobody else can. Well, maybe anothr time I'll start that thread. Sorry for getting off the praise topic. too easy to be negative these days. Still very stressed about my husband. Another 2 hr. drive early Mon. morning for more tests. OH..the good news! He went back to work and sold 4 vehicles in one day!! That truly was amazing!! :D His boss gave him a high 5! :)

Hi everyone,
donp gave me good directions to get a little picture in the corner of my post. It's a little hard to see, but it is beautiful snowy, forest covered hills. I have all that except for the snow!!!
Yes, our children can push our buttons. I put mine in God's hands and try to leave them there. The topic on worry (lesson 10) was so good, because it helps us to leave it for a specific time, and only go to it then. That certainly frees up a lot of time for some fun, constructive stuff...does it not??
Talk to you all soon.
Thanks donp for the help..It was a bit of a struggle because my computer kept blocking the pop up window, but I persisted, and was pleased to finally get it done. Persistance pays off.
love,
Carol
PS what does lol mean?
Carol
