ok guys i need some help please. i have previously talked about commitment issues on this website before but now i am more scared because this guy wants to date me. the only problem is that im having much more trouble accepting this new thing (we were always just close friends) than he is. im afraid to tell everyone cuz i dont know how they will react or how long this thing will last anyway. help?

You dont have to tell everyone! If you want to date him,, just have a few dates,, see if you really like him... It doesnt matter what anyone else thinks anyway!!!

i know what you say makes sense. but we already went out on a date and we have known each other so long that he just asked me to be his girlfriend. and i have to tell my friends. i 'd feel bad keeping this from them. and they would find out im sure. i dont want them to get mad at me for keeping it from them. yeah, i know that it doesnt matter what they think. i have always had trouble with caring to much about what others think. i really hate that..but thanks! and, please, pray for me
