Has anyone ever tried hypnotherapy for OCD?

I did, mabey I didn't have a good hynotist, I was able to feel calm about my fear (You can read my profile), when the suggested imaging was used, but it didn't keep me from remembering the feeling of fear that the "bad" thoughts brought. It was actually a little confusing for me, but it may work for you. I was trying anything myself. I think the skills we will learn from this program will help us. In my profile you can see that most of my life I use my ocd for good, just when I get in a "bad thinking cycle" is when it is a problem. So I am conciously trying to use it for good and trying not to listen and let the bad thoughts cause fear in me anymore. It is hard and a challenge but, it worked for me before, it takes practice. If you do the hypnotherapy let me know how it goes. God bless us all. I pray for all of us every night! WE will all be ok! :)

The scary thoughts are there but I have to not let them scare me and panic me, I'm trying to change my emotional response to the thought when it occurs which being ocd is pretty much all day. I don't have OCD or panic attacks, I'm here cause my husband left me and my kids for another woman, but, I would look into hypnotherapy. Whatever works.
