not break from routine?
I.E. I have to use the same shampoo everyday, wear the same earrings, do my makeup in a certain order.
The reason why being I did it in that manner and nothing bad has happened if I break from the routine something bad will happen. If I wear another set of earrings I will have a bad day etc.
Please tell me I am not alone.

We are creatures of habit my dear..Everyone has their routine and quirks about their routines. Sounds to me that you're a bit supersticious about the whole earring thing though. Why don't you go out and buy yourself a great pair of earrings and try em, heck buy a couple of pairs..Then keep your head up and your positve thoughts flowing and you'll see that you wearing your "everyday" earrings have nothing to do with how good or bad your day is. I say this because I did this same thing too, but it's nice to change it up a bit..makes life a bit more interesting, even if it's just earrings..It's actually kinda liberating to break away from supersticions, they are just anxieties in a different mask.

OMG the earrings are just one of many quirks. Tonight I did use a NEW shampoo. I am waiting for the program to come I am so excited because I finally had the money to pay for it. I am "stupidstitous" I know it's stupid YET I still fall for it I just want to break this cycle.

Thank you for response Zoomy.

You're welcome...I've got a lot of quirks too so I know where you're comming from. When you start to work though the program some of those things will fade away and you'll start living more as opposed to worrying. Good luck with it and I hope you're shampoo is awesome opossum.

Wow, I was surprised to read what you wrote. I just realized this morning that I do the same thing every day too. And, every day things suck. So, this morning while I was lying in bed, dreading to get up, I said to myself "It's time to do something different. A different routine." So, I purposely did everything out of order. After showering I put on "pretty" clothes instead of my usual "dumpy" clothes. I used a different perfume, hairstyle, everything! Guess what? I had a good day! It was an experiment and it worked. It broke the usual mind games I play every morning. I got to choose what came next instead of my auto mode choosing for me. It felt great to be in control for once!

I always do that too!! whenever I get ready in the morning i always take a shower, brush my teeth, put on my makeup etc in a certain way. I also have this thing where if for example someone has gone through a divorce I somehow think that if I touch them I will get a divorce...kind of like they are passing it on to me...I hate it!!
