Hello Free at last. This is my last post to you on this drinking thread. Do what you want to do. But my posting My advice and MY opinion SHOULDN'T be a problem since this is what this site is for. I don't have to say what you want to hear. I'm only going to tell you what I think you need to hear and the truth does hurt sometimes.

DeeDee.

Hey everyone-

I don't think we should be putting other people down on the forums when people are just reaching out for help and suggetions.....Ok yes, alcohol is not a way to run away from our problems...I agree..., but if anyone is on here that takes Ativan, Xanax, klonopin, or any type of bezodiazapine - does anyone know that those drugs even though they are prescription drugs they are a POWDERED form of ALCOHOL? They are!

YES GREATPHYCIAN, I THOUGHT ABOUT THAT AS I WAS READING. I DO TAKE BENZOS AND THEY HELP MUCH :). IF A PERSON COULD DRINK ONLY 3 PER DAY AS PRESCRIBED IT WOULD BE BETTER THAN BENZOS ;).BUT THEY DON'T.WHEN I WAS AT MY WORST WITH ANXIETY I TRIED TO DRINK HOPEING IT WOULD TAKE THE PANIC AWAY.IT DIDN'T HELP AT ALL DIDN'T EVEN FINISH THE IST DRINK.I WOULD GO TO THE EM AND THEY WOULD GIVE ME ONE BENZO AND IT WOULD BREAK THE ATTACK..........MALIKYE
