OMG! You are def not alone I have negative thoughts about my baby too - I mean CRAZY ones I've had the same as you when your mind says "just try it and see what it's like" really crazy thoughts so bad I am embarassed to type. My advice don't watch the news or movies about bad people. You are not them you just have OCD.

I just wanted to say thanks to all of you for sharing your stories.I logged on this morning just to see what was going on. I could'nt believe how much I could relate to "chrit's" story. I know her post was over a month ago but I can so relate. I watched a scarey movie just last night. I could'nt sleep. I kept replaying the bad stuff in the movie in my head. I know now that I'm not going to do that again and for me t.v. in general bothers me alot. It can rob you of your time and life. Thanks again!

"As long as one keeps searching, the answers come"...
-- Joan Baez

Asking ourselves 'why?' helps us delve deeply into our main motives -- why we do what we do. This process helps us go deeper into our reasoning, habits and unconscious beliefs. Once we become aware of our underlying motives, we can choose to change them, if we wish...

Regularly ask yourself, 'Why am I...?' Listen closely for the answer that surfaces in your mind, and write it down. Now look at your answer and ask why again. Continue with this process to reach the true source of your motivation...

"Men are more accountable for their motives, than for anything else"...
-- Archibald Alexander
