Is neurofeedback the same as biofeedback? I was just going to post a question about biofeedback myself, so I am interested in the responses. My therapist is moving, so as I am considering someone else there is one therapist who also does biofeedback and I wondered if anyone had tried and had success or not.
Just a note... I looked up both on Google, and it looks like they are two different things entirely. Biofeedback is some sort of a process or method used to control involuntary body functions such as breathing, blood pressure, and other things, and the Neurofeedback is something to do with measuring brain waves. I know nothing of either, I'm afraid, but it was an interesting search.

Yes I will say that Neurofeedback does work. But it takes alot longer to get results...so if one is on med's one may stay on it and work with the Neurofeedback. Its a program that pretty much measures your brain wave activity,,,,alpha and beta.....negative and positive. When you start having a negative thought the program STOPS...when you resume aligned good thoughts it resumes.....it measure the muscle tension and all.........no side effects all natural.....the person receiving is really doing all the work.........
I just started this past few months with a health Dr. and neurotransmitters and such, I do like it.
