CSpintop, thanks for the encourageing words.
Corr, you made me lol about the crazy magnet.
It does seem like some people (myself) are targets for jerks. I often wonder what signal I'm sending off to people that says, mess with me? I have tried giving people the benefit of the doubt, but that only goes so far.
It's a rough world out there and one really needs to have a thick skin to survive it. Best of luck to everyone.
Everything makes me angry

Wow, reading you guys posts really hit home with me. I didn't think I had any significant anger issues until I read about your feelings. All of the exact things you wrote about also make me feel angery or at least very annoyed.
Especially people in traffic talking on cell phones wandering into my lane, cutting me off, driving too slow, not paying attention when the light turns green, etc.
Anger is a really tough one to manage. It's going to take a lot of practice for all of us to master this. I'm trying to follow the course to conquer it but I'd sure like some advice about how to stay calm in traffic. It's not enough just to say "be calm", I need to know 'how' to do it, I need tools I can use.
Thanks for any help.

I have no great answer for staying calm in traffic, but a suggesion I use to help me. I still get angry, but I focus on how dangerous the other drivers are. Sure I sometimes wish I could just step on the gas and just ram into them like bumper cars (I hope that doesn't sound too crazy), but then I try to think "is it really worth it". Will I even see this person again? What will happen if I flip this person off, tail them, cut them off back, or honk and yell? Do they have a gun? Is it worth risking my life, my daughters life, their life, and other people's lives. The answer always comes back "NO"! Then I realize he/she is the jerk, the idiot, and the dangerous one. I slow down to get away from them, and sometimes picture them getting pulled over by a cop. Then I tell myself how proud I am for handling the situation in a great way, and not letting it ruin the day.
I hope this helps. I also try not to take it personal, and to picture that that person is having the worst day of their life and wouldn't normally act like this. Good luck!
