Wow, with all of these accomplishments what's there to be depressed about? Lol. Haven't you heard THAT one a million times from those who don't get it?

When I am down I cannot even see any achievements. Or if I think of one I immediately come up with a reason why it is not really an achievement.

This was a great idea, scdon, to focus on the positive. I will add it to my ever-growing list of things to work on.

I haven't cheated.

My list looks pathetic. :(

Dear Ms Pete
You are not pathetic- you have alot of things going for you-your family. As it says in the program-we should not compare ourselves to others-because we tend to view ourselves negatively.

It's sometimes hard to see our blessings when we are feeling depressed and anxious. Hopefelly you have the program. It will help alot.
Take care and God Bless.

I have a few from when I was young, but what I am most proud of is my son. He'll be turning 24 next month, graduated from college last year with a BS in Biology and has now finished his first year in a Master's program in Bio-Chem. He missed graduating cum laude by 0.05 points and has all As and Bs in his Masters.

I spent tons of time with him when he was young from reading to him, playing with blocks, playing horsee, to learning how to swim, fish, legos, Nintendo, games, baseball, basketball, school plays and activities etc. He's a graduate assistant working for the college, earning his own way now while going to school. I'm very thankful to be his Dad and very proud of who he is as a person.
