I finally broke down and ordered the program today. I can only hope that it will give me some of the relief I so desperately need and deserve. Hoping for the best out of this, I've tried everything, hopefully this is the answer.

I'm so happy for you DarkCloud! I think that you will find some relief with the program. It will take some work.
But I'm thinking that maybe you'll find that your dark cloud may have a silver lining!!

Darkcloud...I am soooo grateful that you received this program...You have no idea how much it will change your life for the better until you do the work and use the skills in the program...

thank you both, I am looking forward to the day I come home and find the program on my doorstep. Hopefully it will give me the relief i so desperately crave. I need to start LIVING my life, not just acting my way through every passing moment.

Darkcloud.. I have never been one to push things on people but after conquering Anxiety and depression I always stress to people in the sitaution I was in to listen to the program.
Once you conquer the "fear of being afraid" you are on your way to recovering.
From your last post, I woke up in a fully blown anxiety attack, there is nothing worse. I then remembered why this happens "fight or flight" and concentrated on my breathing by exhaling through my mouth for the count of 5-7 seconds. It slowed everything back down and stopped my shaking and sweating..

I did recieve the program last week. I am on day four of session 1. Not really improving or declining just status quo. I just get the feeling that this may not work for me. I am putting my all into it, but I only have time to listen to the relaxation tapes once a day. I do the workbook, and journal. Hoping things start to look up. You hang in there dark cloud.. Remember that you have to reprogram the way you have thought for probably many years.. This change wont be instantanious but you will be gradually climbing out of the sadness and realising the skills you will learn will help you throughout lifes tuff situations..

as you get more into the program you will beging to see results. never say neverbut say I will make it work fo me.ifit will work for us then you can rest easy knowing that itwill wok for you as well.if you can only listen to the relaxitation tape once a day then that is better the not at all. beofre long you will be able to know it by heart.take care and have a blessed week.

I know this is a journey. I know that I have to reprogram my way of thinking for the past 14 years. It just seems like the only way I know. I am so tired of this crap, I am committed to getting better. Hoping for the best. Thanks for writing, thanks for caring, thanks.
