Pecos, Glad to hear the program has worked for you. I have faith it will help all of us. Congrats to your new job project too. I would love to get to know others on here and help keep the support going. ***Anyone that wants to be in the circle should post everyday or two letting our group know how they are doing****. That will keep our moral up and help our therapy, besides writing how you feel helps get the ills out. Here is my post for the day. I am doing pretty well today. This is day 3 for me. I caught myself a couple of times self talking and corrected it, also caught my mother doing it and brought it to her attention.
Hi Donna,
that's funny- I was always bringing my mom's negativity to her attention as I had thought I had come so far. Until I started this program that is and especially since session 3. Holy cow! Ms negativity is in the house!
Glad you are here, I will try to post regularly like you requested and like Pecos suggested.
Pecos, you are a light in the darkness and I know I speak for others when I say thank you for continuing to be here and sharing your wisdom and caring.

My depression is getting better though as a result of this program I can tell. I am having a horrible time with the sugar and decided to skip session five until after Christmas since I was doing nothing but feeling bad about my sugar overload. I had the lapband put in and lost 50 lbs and was doing great. My husband was deployed for the Navy and I just didn't bring sugar in the house anymore, and wasn't craving it, even in the grocery store. Anyways, he has reintroduced sugar to the household and now I am a fiend for it again. I stopped losing weight and actually put on a couple pounds. I am not at my maintenance level for the lap band adjustments. (How tight it is, they tighten it slowly, it takes about 5 or 6 times usually to reach the optimal level) I have only had it adjusted twice so far so much of the weight loss had been on my own with little back up. Anyways, instead of beating myself up for being a failure in session 5 I moved on to session 6 at least until after Christmas and I can get another adjustment. I am bummed about the weight thing but am just trying to keep the damage under control. My husband says he is supportive but seems to keep bringing home the goodies. I take responsibility for putting them into my mouth and now I am even buying them again. Darn it.

Good day all. Checking in to see how everybody is doing. I made a mistake and had a cup of coffee. I didn't think that it had much caffeine, but it was too strong. Now, having anxiety thoughts. I'm taking deep breaths to minimalize this. Anyway when this wears off I'll be more cautious. Glad to here everyone has thier chin up.
Hey everyone...Donna, i hope the caffeine's tapered off by now and you're feeling much better. today's been going pretty good so far. i caught myself getting ready to go into an angry temper tantrum and tirade while having a discussion with my friend so i had get away and center myself. i know it seems minor but for me it was a step-up because i usually let my temper get the better of me. at this very moment i'm feeling quite calm which is good. how's everyone doing?? hope everyone's hanging in there....
Hi All,
Coffee is a bad bad thing. I used to have double or triple shot lattes and when I wasn't having problems with anxiety it wasn't so bad but boy do they kick my butt when i am. I haven't had caffeine for awhile now, I almost drove myself straight to the looney bin. Donna Gail hope you're feeling better.
You know when I quit smoking the doctor told me to take lots of extra vitamin c because it helps the body detox much more quickly. Maybe that will help get the caffeine out. Who knows if I could only stop putting sugar in my mouth long enough it might work for me too
