I've been sober for 12 years and have been trying to get help with life long depression. I have sought professional help for many years and the doctors just prescribe another medication. One might work for a while, but the uptight feeling in my gut does not go away. This program is different than anything I am aware of in that it gives us a process to deal with our dis-ease (not to be confused with disease). I have been in the program for about three weeks and already feel "safer" in my own skin. I know I have a long way to go but, like you, I HAVE STARTED!! All we need to do is trust the process and be honest with ourselves and each other. When I first got sober my recovery family told me to keep coming back. They also suggested I take the cotton out of my ears and put it in my mouth. I was also told, "Don't believe everything you think". I think I'll keep coming back. Thanks for being here for me.

Congratulations on 12 years! So many program statements work here as well. I am going back to ACA starting tomorrow, to get some face-to-face help and reinforce what I'm getting from this program.

Congratulations on your 12 years! I've completed the program and found that it also helps so much with life conflicts in general, and not just anxiety. There are very good life skills learned here and is so well structured. It's helped me not only with anxiety but also with getting my life in balance and relationships in general.
