I tryed to go through the first 3 cd's in a week because I didn't want to waste my husband's money, he bought me the program. I got very nervous that it's just another atempt to help myself find me again. My husband thought I seemed worse which made me feel worse that I might waste his money and it won't work. So many things about the program fit to my life, I feel I'm on the right track but I don't trust myself. At first I thought the meds helped but only to a point. I'm tired of searching and being wrong and wasting time and money on doctors, meds and think I should just be able to do it on my own.

Join the crowd. Only I'm now doing the program for the 3rd time. It often happens when something else pops up in ones life. There's others who have done in several times so I don'tfeel so bad. Steven Farris has a post. He's practically memorized the program he said and he's such a BIG help.

Don't despair you will get the help you need and so will I once again. It just TAKES TIME. Your husband probably isn't as worried as you are. You're guilting yourself. Don't do it. If he didn't care about you he wouldn't have let you buy it. Sometimes we do get worse before we get better. We're frustrated, like you appear to be that it has to take so long to be rid of this crap. Then again we all wonder, "will we ever be rid of it." Yes if you continue doing the program and don't rush it you will. If you come on the forums and chat or just the forums you will. PM me if you'd like or just keep coming here for help from others. I'll say a prayer for you and you can say one for me too. :)

It took a long time to get here, in this journey, so I know for myself, I want to savor everything. I wanted to speed through it too for the 30 days, but I already know and feel in my heart that this will work.
It's not a waste of money if it gets you out of this hell right?
You CAN do it on your own, we all can- just make a committment that you will do what it takes, no matter how long it take too.
Putting a time frame on this only makes you more anxious.
Breathe.
Move forward.

Star, I just wanted to chime in and let you know that they say it is very common for your anxiety to get worse as you face your fears and start to work on this. It can seem that you kinda take two steps back before taking three steps forward. I urge you to share this with your husband so that he can be more supportive of you.

Hugs to you thru this tough (but so worth it!) journey.
