Tired and weak all the time!! help!
Hi, I am 19 years old, I was diagnosed with social anxiety. I have anxiety symtoms everyday of my life. I take xanax for the anxiety but I have a phobia of anti depressant meds. I have not been able to hold down a job due to the panic attakcs & anxiety, I'm afraid of driving, and I have a two year old daughter. All of this is starting to make me really depressed. I have no energy I'm always tired and weak. My body hurts and achs. I'm suffering from really bad migrains. I no longer have insurance to go to the doctor. I'm confident this is depression I just need help dealing with everything at once. I feel like something just sucked all the energy out of my body.
Twilight,
Sounds like you have a ton of stress in your life. Are you eating properly and getting sleep? Those two things can make you tired and weak. And I have had horrible migraines. Try ice on the back of your neck and look into taking magnesium. It helped me a lot.
I also take anxiety meds but not antidepressants because I can't tolerate the side effects. Sometimes I get tired because of the meds.
You've just started on the program. You'll find many ways to deal with the panic and depression. The relaxation tapes are very helpful. Some people even use them to go to sleep. So good luck with the program. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how different you feel in a few weeks.
